1ST WOMEN IN FILM CONGRESS – SUMMARY
At the end of November 2025, Warsaw hosted the First Women in Film Congress – a historic event entitled "Silence on set? Women's voices in cinema," organized by Polish Film Institute the Women in Film initiative. The meeting became a platform for debate and planning real changes in Polish cinema. The congress brought together industry representatives, creators, and experts to discuss equal opportunities, workplace safety, structural barriers, and the future of women in film, emphasizing the need to break the long silence and build an inclusive space for dialogue.
