PIPP is a program for the pre-processing of planetary images before stacking them with applications such as Registax.

You can load a sequence of images from supported video files, SER video files, etc. Image editing operations include cropping, centering the planet, calibrate frames, applying noise/gamma, and splitting color frames into R, G, and B frames.

Nice software. Really stacks well and very user-friendly for beginner astro photographers. Hope they release it for Linux platforms too.

Seems I have downloaded multiple things onto my computer. None of them seem to be PIPP! I wonder exactly what I have downloaded and what calamity all o9f these downloads will bring to my computer. MAKE INSTALLATION MORE CLEAR!

Ken Everhart, I've just replied to a previous comment (currently awaiting moderation approval, which hopefully happens soon) with a few links. It looks like this original site no longer has them available, I get an error page when redirected to begin download.
