As much as I think Intel’s CPU’s are shit,

watching this gives me some hope for entry-level dGPUs / open source budget options.

As much as I’d like the marketshare to be 11% I’m quite skeptical of this counting.

Until StatCounter can provide details on how the heck they’re determining the percentages I’d personally recommend against using their stats.

Currently for now I’d recommend using Steam/Valve’s user percentage counter as their breakdown provides more clarity.

Yes, however the price was already quite high for an unupgradeable minipc.

Also the price in US is significantly worse once converted for Canadian markets.

Out of all instances you could be crossposting from why hexbear?

For $1,139 USD the value proposition has collapsed.

At this price point it’s becoming increasing difficult to justify over buying a laptop.

While I personally don’t believe in the existence of gods or any supernatural beings, if others want to believe in it I think it’s fine.

If people encroach on other’s choices that’s where I’ll personally draw the line.
- aka don’t force others to make the same choices as yourself. Don’t become Microslop.

Nice!

I’m glad to hear fans of Metropolis 2001 still exist in the wildšŸ¤—

Also I’m a bit jealous to hear that you got your own copy! I’ve been wanting one but as far as I last checked they’ve basically become a limited collector’s item🄲

In addition to poisoning with bad data, I’d recommend adding logic gates where both recipient and sender tests each other in the definition and understanding of trust and consent which is a major thorn against the corporations, CEOs, and conservatives.

It’s unfortunate but I’d recommend removing Firefox, Protonmail, Duckduckgo.
- Librewolf is better, SearXNG is more trustworthy than DDG.

I personally wouldn’t recommend ZorinOS, Ubuntu, and Pop!OS.
- Linux Mint is a solid recommendation.
- EndeavourOS is also pretty good.
- Arch Linux (base) is getting really good due to improvements to archinstall.

I get it and I fully agree; Carney giving Trump the bird is obviously not the play to make.

At the same time, clapping for the attack on Venezuela and capturing Maduro. Like what the fuck. Was that really needed?

Why comment at all, giving praise was even foolhardy as internationally Canada looks to be on the wrong side of history.

Feigning ignorance or saying something on the lines of ā€œMy staff and I are currently looking into the implications of this rapidly changing situation.ā€ would have honestly been better IMO.

Someone out there would have probably had better moves than Carney’s missteps.

Again I don’t disagree with your points, I just feel that Carney’s been making mistakes intentionally or accidentally one after another.

Chess and Among Us strats.

As the king becomes the fool and destroys his own castle, prioritize establishing relations with foreign nations built on the basis of historical reputation and long term trust.

When the fool asks ā€œHey how come you: brought Christmas fruitcake!? / didn’t reply or show up for my party!?

Malicious compliance and/or ignorance: ā€œSorry bro I:
1. thought this was what you meantšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø(🤪)"
2. was busy but hope it was goodšŸ‘ā€

This is the basics of what anyone could do, obviously there are better methods and plans out there.

I would say that I and fellow Canadians are trying but for our government I’d say that Mark Carney is kowtowing and kissing Trump’s ring.

In a way I’m at least glad that we don’t have Pierre Poilievre Dipshit in charge because he would’ve already hung Canadians to die at the mercy of Trump.

At the same time though, Mark Carney is a total loseršŸ–•

I wish we had our own Zohran Mamdani leading Canada :/

I’ve crossposted this here to hopefully increase awareness in the invasion of privacy via wifi/AI integrated items. Please check out the comments in the previous thread.

Women in particular should take the time to consider if wifi/AI is actually needed in sex toys and other gadgets to buy.

Fair point and for an $250 endoscope dildo having a wifi vulnerability is a terrifying reality.

I’m just imagining that with AI integration it’ll allow for even bigger attack surface vector.

I have a very hard time believing that sex toy manufacturers would actually take the time and effort in locking down the vulnerabilities that LLMs inherently carry.
