My life isn't very exciting at the moment. All I'm doing is working, coming home and sleeping then working again but TOMORROW I HAVE THE DAY OFF. Catching up with girls from high school tonight and then probably going to listen to Britney Spears/Glee songs when i get home.

SUCH IS LIFE.

LOOKS LIKE EVERY WEEK IS GOING TO BE SHARK WEEK.

I start on Tuesday. I'm OVER THE FUCKING MOON RIGHT NOW. :D

If you cant see THIS post, I'm sorry. As much as i hated to do it, i've been needing to do one of these for quite a while since it's actually getting to the point of ridiculousness as to how long it takes me to check my flist. And have been putting it off...for ages.

Either we've just drifted apart, we're just not into the same things anymore or I've just been skipping over your entries too many times. I'm also not checking here quite as often as I'd like or as much as I used to. Hope you go on to have lovely exciting lives and thanks for letting me have an insight into them for a time :)

Okay so i should explain what I've been doing.

Still in England until tomorrow, having a great time. And i managed to be an extra on Misfits last Friday and then go help out on set on Monday morning. It. Was. Awesome. Robert was lovely to me and shook my hand and chatted to me and how he was in Australia and did a backpacking tour when he was 19. Nathan was lovely too and i watched him and Iwan play ping pong against each other and suggested Robert film it, which he did. It was all very cool and laid back. The whole crew is so young too! I'm going to be in 2x04 in a bar scene with a new character. I also know spoilers for episode 5 (i think).

The reason behind me being on set and everything was harlequingerhl/Emily's dad works on the show. He offered to get me on and he got them to sign a dvd i had bought a few weeks ago. Pretty much, Adam Browne is the coolest dad/producer in the world.

➡ Hello! Been 20 for a whole day now. Thanks to everyone who messaged me on facebook with birthday messages. I had a really good day. Went into the city to Melbourne uni and hung with some friends, got greeted by emma who had bought me a choc chai latte, my favourite, and then we went met up with Sarina who was dressed in full wizard attire. She is the coolest person ever. She had a sorting hat and everything. (It was Grill'd Tuesday which is where we go to Grill'd every tuesday and have different themes each week and this week i chose Wizards) She let me wear the sorting hat. We got food and talked then hung around the uni quad which looks like Hogwarts and frolicked around and acted like idiots.

We also had this photo taken because we all seem to make friends with only queer people lolol. Editting of the picture was done by Sasha.

I then came home, and the family came over. I got loads of money for my trip over to London (I leave in a month's time!) as well as a ukelele (:D!) and my Tegan & Sara ticket from Emma. I had a really good birthday. Em's throwing me a party on saturday night at her place in Northcote and i'm going over there for dinner at a curry place tonight which is going to be nice.

What i really wanted to update about was Glee.

I have been around. Just lurking. My life has been pretty lazy and boring of late so there's nothing really exciting to update about. But i am still around. I check my flist almost daily so i hope i havent accidentally missed anything.

It is so clever and lovely sounding and people who like lovely sounding music will love this. *sigh* It makes me believe there are good things in this world with very clever and talented people. ♥

So, um. Teegz and Sara were amazing. No, not amazing. There's actually no words to describe how much i have idolized them and adored them for so many years and finally being able to see them just kind of gave me this feeling of joy and happiness and poor Sasha who went with me had to put up with me hugging her after the show because i was so full of happy and glee and joy and love. LOVE FOR EVERYONE. Then when i got home i kind of fell into a short depression when i found out that Jana, Emma and Sasha's uni friend met Tegan and Sara after the show since her cousin's a journalist. I admit, i may have had my heart crushed a little since all i want to do it give Tegan a hug after that performance. (Yes, i'd like to do other things too, but we know this already, but at this particular moment I JUST WANTED A HUG.) Sara was adorbs too and just oh. everything. Now i'm going to repeat a bunch of stuff I've already said on my tumblr since i got excited and posted there first which makes mthink lj is second to me now WHICH ISNT TRUE. ILU LJ. Anyway:

➭ They were incredible. So, SO SO AMAZINGLY GOOD. I ALMOST CRIED. They played Nineteen and Dark Come Soon acoustically and Where Does The Good Go and Tegan was adorable and told us we had to listen whilst Sara told her story because she is like a turtle and she is without her shell at the moment and she’s naked and vulnerable so we had to be sympathetic to her story and Sara talked about the weird howling the audience was making and then they both proceeded to make 'awoo' noises.


Tegan with her shaker thing was so cute. I took a bunch of photos but the quality isnt amazing since i used my G9 not the Exciting Pretty Camera since i didnt think they would let me take it in but all these other people had canon cameras like it, so, i was kind of pissed off. Ah well, i made do with what i had.

I’m so happy right now. SO. FUCKING. HAPPY. I finally got to see them. finally.

They opened with The Ocean and closed with Living Room (!!!!! which i was so happy about) and played Dont Rush and Tegan was convinced she was going to fuck it up so she had the lyrics written on her arm. Then Sara fucked up So Jealous, which was hilarious because she stopped the entire band and was like "Okay, okay. What the fuck was that, Sara. I'm going to just not fuck it up again and trust our amazing bass player and not miss the beat next time." then continued playing. ♥

Shame they didnt play Feel It In My Bones or Monday Monday Monday :(. I was so looking forward to those :( Other than that though <33333

and i bought this andddd a tshirt with the same design on but red. I dont plan to wear them together so it'll be fiiine!

After five years of desperately wanting to see them but never being able to. First 3 times because i was underage and last year because i was in New York.

BRB GOING TO THEIR SHOW NOW.

So i have changed the channel to some kid's tv show called Dani's House and low and behold, KAREN is there. How embarrassing for her. That being said, she's wearing glasses and kind of looks adorable. But the writing. GOOD GOD, the writing. It's so cringe-worthy. And it has canned laughter as well. *cringes some more*

Sorry i've been so AWOL lately. I have had ridiculously slow internet so i couldnt check ANYTHING. And today it clicked over to a new month and I HAD INTERNET AGAIN. It was blissful.

Things i've done lately:

☑ Made a few icons (See icons). But still not enough to post anywhere.
☑ Went to a queer night thing with Emma and her uni friends who apparently are now MY FRIENDS TOO. YAY QUEER GROUP OF FRIENDS :D
☑ Updated my flickr with stuff i'm really proud of. The impromptu photo outting was done because Mum had asked me to take a photo that had green and red in it but something abstract that we can put in the granny flat on the wall. So I'm giving her the option of these two. I like the second one best but knowing my mother she'll like the more abstract-y one. she liked neither. There's no pleasing her it seems. She has a "idea in my mind" but unfortunately i CANT SEE IN HER MIND. Ergh. That's the last time I try to give her photos she's never happy with them.
☑ Worked. ALL WEEKEND and was exhausted after it all. Then i worked today from 7am-2pm. But they know i'm going away for a month now in July which i was really nervous talking to them about, they were nice about it thankfully.
☑ Organised my birthday. I'm so old.
☑ Saw REGINA SPEKTOR. She. Is. INCREDIBLE. Best part of the night was her forgetting the words during one of her songs and her stopping. Saying "oh shit.....hang on hang on hang on. Nope. I've forgotten the words.... OH WAIT" then continuing on. And her saying how she's been the her third sporting event in her life and "Aussie Rules Footy game" and saying that when she got to the field she looked down and expected them to be playing Quittich. Then suggested we all vote for the players to all get their own brooms.
