Uh-oh
A week ago, my mother and I went to the city to buy snacks and stuff for preparation for Youth Conference. While were there, we went to a place called 'Jeans Alley,' which would have been innocent, if it were not for the words at the side which were: 'for gals.' Dun, dun, dun! No one around here says 'gals' unless they are 'cowboys' or have a farm. So sadly, I was dragged inside by my mother. Once there, the truth was revealed.
All of these years (at least 6, anyway), I have been wearing guys' pants. Why? Because they are looser and more comfortable, and I don't have to wear a belt. Apparently, my mother has believed that the reason I've been wearing guys' pants is because I don't want to wear hip-huggers. So, she tried to get me to try on 'high' jeans. Basically, they would be like 5 inches higher up on my torso than the jeans I usually wear. I got out of it by not encouraging her and saying that I didn't feel like trying on pants that day. Dang. The hip-hugger thing isn't what bothers me. My current jeans are basically hip-huggers...maybe slightly higher, as they generally rest at my hipbone. I don't know what I'm going to do...My mom told the saleswoman that we'd be coming back sometime. Gah.
>.<
On a lighter note, I'm making brownies. They should be done in 10 minutes, but then of course they have to sit an hour before I can eat them. Yay for brownies! Yummy stuff. :)
