Hit and Run

An old man just hit me. I was just innocently driving along, but noticed the old guy pulling out at the same time as another vehicle, so that made me rather wary. I was in the left lane, he was in the right, I was getting to the point where I was almost neck-and-neck with him, when I noticed he was kind of coasting into my lane. At first I thought it was just my imagination, but then I realized it wasn't and braked, but it was too late. He hit into the side of my car.

What is a person supposed to do in these situations? This is my first, and it's been quite a while since Driver's Ed. He immediately turned left, but I had passed the road, so I turned left at the next road and met him, where I assumed we would park, discuss the event, and exchange insurance information or whatever the heck you're supposed to do. But he just kept driving, so I followed, and watched him take the last parking space in front of the Senior Center. So I recorded his license plate number. I guess I'll deal with it later.

But sheesh, he did not seem to be aware. I don't think he should be on the road anymore. Time to hang up the keys.

The damage isn't so bad, but there is this thick section of scratches. It doesn't look cool. Not at all.
