I noticed that my watch band is falling apart. It is hanging on by a small segment...perhaps .5 centimeter wide. So, I decided to get a new watch (which incidentally is decided about 3 times a year).
Today I got a new watch. It was more expensive than my usual ones (which are generally $5-$10), and was $15. You can tell that I don't go all out on watches. And actually, I would have gotten my usual $5-$10 watch, but I went to a different store (a grave error, it would seem), and they didn't have a very good selection.
A few minutes ago, I tried to remove the watch from its packaging. This occurred after I realized it was beeping every hour on the hour (which I find incredibly annoying). I wished to change the settings. And it was then that I realized something even more horrible.
It would seem that the watch is meant to remain suspended in its transparent plastic case indefinitely.
I say that because I cannot seem to remove it. The arrangement is not at all practical.
