On Monday I get my wisdom teeth removed. It seems like a hassle to me. They aren't even coming in, and I only have 2. But apparently, they are "impacted". I'm going to starve. I can't eat for 6 hours before?? Crap. I just hope I don't end up with the dreaded holes everyone talks about. The holes that food gets stuck in all the time. Evil.
I must say, whoever made this has never been to America.

Be very proud to be British because... Only in Britain... can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance. I've no idea about this one. Never compared. Only in Britain... do supermarkets make sick people walk all the way to the back of the shop to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front. Uh-huh. That's how it is here, too. Only in Britain... do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a DIET coke. Come on! Of course they do that here! Only in Britain... do banks leave both doors open and chain the pens to the counters. Yep. Only in Britain... do we leave cars worth thousands of pounds on the drive and lock our junk and cheap lawn mower in the garage. Of course. Maybe not so often, but yeah. Only in Britain... do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place. Pleeease. Only in Britain... are there disabled parking places in front of a skating rink. Oh, yeah. We have them, and it boggles my mind. |
