Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!

It's a pity I don't have school today, as the translator at the middle school where I mentor was obsessed about me being Irish for about a week. He said I always wear green. Yes...that would be because my coat is green (and black), and I always wear it there because it is always cold. On the other hand, it's good I don't have school because I believe I wore my only green shirt on Monday and it hasn't been washed yet. I don't have many green clothes. The shirt and my coat are it. But...my pjs have green in them (which I am still wearing, partly out of disbelief that I got up at 7:55 on the weekend), so it's all good.

I'm not entirely Irish, though. I'm 3/8 Irish, and Scotch-Irish (though we haven't figured out where that fits in yet). The rest of me is European, but not calculated entirely accurately because of the mysterious Scotch-Irish portion, so I won't bore you with the details.

Random fact 1: I find it funny that (my friend) Laura is afraid of most dogs larger than mine (I have a wiener dog), and yet according to her as of a few days ago, she is planning on getting a medium to large-sized dog at some point. Yeah. Good luck with that.

Random fact 2: My dog does not chase her tail, but my cat chases his.


Whoo. And now I must prepare for bed.
