(no subject)

Every once in a while I get a survey in my inbox that I complete and distribute to friends. My most recent one was the kind that you fill out about a friend. I filled out a few, and sent some blanks. Laura filled one out for me. One of the questions was "What is my favorite music?" Her answer was this: "Well, you like Coldplay...so I guess pop." I think I died a little. Coldplay is classified as Alternative Rock. I like Rock. I like Alternative Rock. I may like some Pop songs, but it is not something I generally include with my preferences. Laura listens to Coldplay for Pete's sake! I introduced her to them a couple months ago. I admit that their most recent album (and the only one she currently owns, which I hope to soon remedy in the form of her birthday present) isn't the most Rock-like of their albums. It is rather mellow compared to the others. But sheesh.

On a side note, none of my friends remember my middle name. EVER. How crazy is that? They are always like, "Did you ever tell me?" Um, yeah. I did. It's 'Lynn,' by the way. For all of you who are now really curious. It's not the most exotic name. Honestly.
