php newb
So, I've decided that I'm done with HTML and I'm going to move on to PHP. Aren't you so proud? I went to php.net and read the tutorial and all that jazz. My server supports PHP. I downloaded WAMP and got mySQL, PHP, and all the other stuff that comes with it.
Unfortunatly I have no idea what to do with it. The tutorial was really no help.
I'm trying to create a network like site - a fan page for a band called Psycho le Cému, similar to the http://www.gackt.us site, with member logins and all that junk.
So... what exactly do I need to do to get started? I can't figure out for the life of me what to do with mySQL, or... any of this mess, really. If anyone can give me a step my step tutorial on how to get started from square one, I would be much appreciative.
