I have a new layout. I made the graphic and finally figured out how to get it to look the way I wanted it to! Yay me!

I am feeling a little better since my last entry... But I am still left wondering if I will ever come to any conclusions about myself and my future. I just hope that it won't take too much longer. I would hate to have to go through another 3 years of college before I decided what I want to major in. That would suck.

On a different thingy (oh so eloquent am I).... I tried changing the colors of my layout to Slytherin's colors, but was horribly unsuccessful. I just couldn't get the right balance. I changed the colors back to Gryffindor, and I don't feel like trying Slytherin again right now. But, I feel a journal change coming on... And soon...

School starts for me in 2 weeks.

I don't know if I am excited or if I'm dreading it.

I am signed up for 5 classes this term. I'm taking Modern British lit, Francophone Women Writers, History of Modern Art, 3rd Year French, and A History of Women and Gender. I'm excited about my classes; I think they'll be interesting.

But exciting/interesting classes won't help my disposition much when I don't have a fucking clue what I want to major in and do after school.

I'm starting my fourth year of college. I should have a major. I should know what I want to do. I once thought I did, but that certainty has left, and now I am left with nothing but doubt. I doubt my interests, my wants, and my intelligence. I like too many different things and disciplines to even begin choosing one over another.

I'm 21, and have no real clue what I want to do with the rest of my life.

I feel slightly lost.

Warner Bros. had once considered making Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire into two movies... But no more. They have apparently decided to make it into one 2.5 hour movie. Anyone who has read GoF know that there is way, way too much info to fit one 2.5 hour movie.

There is a petition to make the adaption of GoF into two 2.5 hour movies. If you are interested in seeing this happen, sign it. I have already done so.

I've changed my journal. Again.

This time, I changed the colors. I went from purples to.... red and (kinda) gold. In other words... GRYFFINDOR!!!!!

And I also changed all the titles and links and stuff on my journal to things from Harry Potter.

"A bit," said Hermione timidly.

"A bit. Well that's something." Ronan sighed. He flung back his head and stared at the sky. "Mars is bright tonight."

"Yeah," said Hagrid, glancing up too. "Listen, I'm glad we've run inter yeh, Ronan, 'cause there's a unicorn bin hurt - you seen anythin'?"

Ronan didn't answer immediately. He stared unblinkingly upwards, and then sighed again.

"Always the innocent are the first victims," he said. "So it has been for ages past, so it is now."

"Yeah," said Hagrid, "but have yeh seen anythin', Ronan? Anythin' unusual?"

"Mars is bright tonight," Ronan repeated, while Hagrid watched him impatiently. "Unusually bright."

"Yeah but I was meanin' anythin' unusual a bit nearer home," said Hagrid. "So yeh haven't noticed anythin' strange?"

Yet again, Ronan took a while to answer. At last, he said, "The forest hides many secrets."

A movement in the trees behind Ronan made Hagrid raise his bow again, but it was only a second centaur, black-haired and bodied and wilder-looking than Ronan.

"Hullo, Bane," said Hagrid. "All right?"

"Good evening, Hagrid, I hope you are well?"

"Well enough. Look, I've jus' bin askin' Ronan, you seen anythin' odd in here lately? There's a unicorn bin injured- would yeh know anythin' about it?"

Bane walked over to stand next to Ronan. He looked skyward.

ima is pretty cool. I've listened to it a some, but not really closely. I need to set some time aside to really listen to it. The track with Tori Amos kicks ass. And the beats on the rest of the album kick some ass as well (many of the songs don't have vocals).

I love Emotional Technology. That album is what made me want to hear more from BT.

While shopping today, I finally found Princess Mononoke on DVD!! YAY me!!! I am so excited, that I don't even care that it was $23. Normally, I wouldn't have bought it, but damn! I couldn't find it anywhere else.

Today, I also bought some other cool stuff. I got some cool bracelets (a studded black one, a pink and black stripped wrist band, and a black one with a metal star), a Mighty Mouse shirt, a wallet, a hat, and BT's ima.

Oooh, and some Japanese snacks. Mmmm, I love Pocky!

My sister has finally coerced me into another fiction fandom.

And I think I like it.

I've started reading Harry Potter fanfiction. I resisted for a long time (just like I did with nsync slash), but now I'm sucked in.

Now my only problem is deciding what pairings to focus on. My sister reads Draco/Harry, and that's a good one... but I don't know if that'll be all I read. I'll probably stick with at least mostly slash though. I mean come oooon. Me? Read het? That's laughable. HAHAHAHA.

My sister has finished writing a fic. And read like 4 books in the past week or so. And I. I have done nothing. All summer. I feel so.... disappointed. In myself. In my summer.

I had such high hopes for what I would get accomplished this summer:
~reread the entire HP series again
~read (other than HP)
~get a job
~write my fics
~more that I can't think of now

But, I haven't done any of it. I've tried to write, and I did read one book (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and this was before summer even really started), but that's it. I feel as if my summer has gone down the crapper.
