Hands On A Hardbody, a new musical on Broadway with music by Trey Anastasio and Amanda Green is in previews now. Inspired by true events, the new musical features a book by Doug Wright (Pulitzer Prize winner, I Am My Own Wife), lyrics by Amanda Green (Bring it On: The Musical) and music by Trey Anastasio and Amanda Green.

Directed by Neil Pepe (Speed-the-Plow) with musical staging by Sergio Trujillo (Memphis, Jersey Boys), it is based on the acclaimed 1997 documentary of the same name by S.R. Bindler, produced by Kevin Morris and Bindler.

On Record Store Day 2013, Trey Anastasio will release Blue Ash And Other Suburbs, a limited edition picture disc vinyl, available exclusively at participating independently owned record stores across the country. The 7″ picture disc features outtakes from the Traveler sessions that were co-produced by Trey and Peter Katis in Fall, 2011 and Original artwork by Micah Lidberg.

On Record Store Day 2013, Page McConnell will release an all new ten track instrumental album titled Unsung Cities And Movies Never Made as a Limited Edition vinyl pressing, available exclusively at participating independently owned record stores across the country.

On Record Store Day 2013, Phish will release Lawn Boy, the band’s second full-length studio album, as a Limited Edition Deluxe 2-LP vinyl set, available exclusively at participating independently owned record stores across the country. Lawn Boy marks the band’s third release in conjunction with Record Store Day (joining Two Soundchecks and Junta) and the first time Lawn Boy has been available on vinyl in well over a decade.

More dates have been added to Page McConnell’s run with The Meter Men. In addition to their performance at New Orleans Jazz Fest on Sunday, May 5, and their stops at Republic in NOLA, Page will perform on keyboards with The Meter Men in Florida, Colorado, and two newly announced performances on March 22 at the Grand Ballroom (At The Manhattan Center) in New York, NY and March 23 at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA.

The Meter Men features three original members of The Meters, including drummer Zigaboo Modeliste, guitarist Leo Nocentelli and bassist George Porter, Jr.

on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 8 p.m, Trey Anastasio will join the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall in Washington, DC. The one-time-only performance, titled NSO Pops: Trey Anastasio, will feature orchestrations of classic Phish songs and solo Anastasio compositions. The concert will be conducted by NSO Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke. Tickets to this performance go on sale to the public on Friday, February 15, at 10:00 AM ET. Trey Anastasio Band heads West in April for another quick Traveler run. It will kick off on April 16, 2013 at the Moore Theatre in Seattle, WA. TAB then heads south for a date in Portland, OR and pulls out a pair back-to-back shows in Oakland, CA.

Next Wednesday and Thursday (January 23rd and 24th), Trey Anastasio Band will perform back-to-back gigs at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. Both shows will be webcast live at LivePhish.com. Page McConnell will perform on keyboards with The Meter Men at the New Orleans Jazz Fest on Sunday, May 5, 2013. The 44th annual Festival will take place once again at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans, LA, April 26 – 28 and May 2 – 5. The Meter Men with Page McConnell will join some of the world’s biggest stars and Louisiana favorites. Additional Jazz Fest performers include Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, The Black Keys, Earth, Wind & Fire, Frank Ocean, B.B. In late October of last year, Hurricane Sandy bore down on the Atlantic seaboard. The result was devastating for coastal areas from the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic to New England and reached as far inland as the Appalachian Mountains and parts of the Midwest and Canada. Storm surge, high winds and power outages that lasted weeks after the storm contributed to loss of life and unprecedented property losses. The coasts of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Rhode Island were permanently redrawn as the Atlantic reclaimed some of America’s favorite beaches.

At the end of December, Phish returns to Madison Square Garden in New York, New York for a four-show New Year’s Run to close out 2012. In order to celebrate New Year’s with everyone, the band will offer live webcasts at LivePhish.com of each of their four sold-out shows (including Phish’s New Year’s Eve three-set performance) at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Trey Anastasio Band will return to the road in 2013, spotlighting material from his new solo album, Traveler. The run will kick off on January 18, 2013 with a show at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, ON. The WaterWheel Foundation continues to celebrate their 15th Anniversary. Their pre-show event earlier this year in San Francisco raised over $22,000 for Bay Area charities.
