I am a postdoc researcher in the
DEEM Lab research group headed by
Sebastian Schelter at
Technische Universität Berlin and the
BIFOLD research center in Berlin, Germany.
I received my PhD from
TU Berlin under the supervision of
Matthias Boehm. My dissertation was selected as a runner-up for the
SIGMOD Jim Gray Doctoral Dissertation Award, and my work has received recognitions including an EDBT 2025 Best Paper Award and a
SIGMOD Research Highlights Award. Prior to my PhD, I was a Senior Software Engineer at Teradata Labs, Hyderabad, India.
My research interest lies broadly in the intersection of Data Management,
Machine Learning and Systems.
Currently, I am exploring systems support for LLM-driven, agentic ML workloads,
focusing on efficient execution and optimization of large numbers of dynamically
generated pipelines across heterogeneous runtimes. In Teradata, I was involved in the
design and development of various features inside Teradata database's execution engine.
I am a PMC member of
Apache SystemDS,
which is an open source ML system for the end-to-end
data science lifecycle from data integration, cleaning, and
preparation, over local, distributed, and federated ML model
training, to debugging and serving.
