We are a private company known as Resources for Africa Investment Conferences (Pty) Limited (referred to here as “Resources 4 Africa” or “R4A”), having registration number 2012/027474/07, duly incorporated with limited liability in terms of the laws of South Africa.
We conduct the business of arranging, administering and producing conferences and/or workshops primarily in the mining or resources sector throughout Southern Africa.
Use of Site
We are the exclusive owners of this site.
The site is for your benefit, information and convenience. It is intended for your lawful and legitimate utilisation. It is not intended to be unlawfully copied nor to constitute any platform or means for unlawful, fraudulent or criminal activity.
Disclaimer
Your election to visit our site and utilise the facilities available on the site from time to time is done entirely within your discretion and at your risk.
We do not warrant the accuracy of the content or material contained on the site. We endeavour at all times to make sure the content and material on the site is correct and accurate but cannot guarantee same.

COVID-19 Policy
In line with Government’s relaxation of Covid regulations, we no longer require attendees to demonstrate their vaccination status as a requirement for attending our events. However, should the Government reimpose rules and restrictions in the future, we’ll have no choice but to follow suit, which may involve a vaccination requirement or other restrictions.
Delegate Payments
Users of the site who wish to attend any of our conferences or workshops may utilise the payment facilities to make payment to ourselves subject to these terms and conditions.
Users and/or delegates wishing to effect payment by utilising our site facilities acknowledge that they are familiar with our general terms and conditions in respect of the particular conference, function or workshop for which such delegate intends paying.
All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).
Although our prices may vary from time to time, we will endeavour to advise you timeously of any increase or decrease in such pricing. We do however reserve the right to change our pricing at any time.
Credit Cards
We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit cards. If you do not have a credit card please utilise one of the other payment options, or simply log off and return to the site at a later time to complete your order.
Card transactions will be acquired for Resources 4 Africa via Payfast by Network, who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. Payfast by Network uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to https://payfast.io/ to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details will be stored by Resources 4 Africa separately from card details which are entered by the client on Payfast by Network’s secure site. For more details on Payfast by Network refer to https://payfast.io/.
Direct Deposit / EFT / Wire Transfer
You may make payment through a direct deposit. It’s exactly the same as doing an EFT payment, except you’ll have to go into your bank and physically make your direct deposit there. Please email your deposit slip to us on [email protected] to ensure your payment is confirmed and order confirmed as quickly as possible.
Alternatively, you make make a payment via an EFT (electronic funds transfer) or wire transfer. lease email your confirmation of payment to us on [email protected] to ensure your payment is confirmed and order confirmed as quickly as possible.
Confirmation of Order Payment
Payments will only be considered received by Resources 4 Africa once the funds are cleared AND clearly identified in our account. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that payment information is communicated promptly to Resources 4 Africa for payments to be allocated accordingly. Proof of transfer or remittance advices will only be processed once the funds are received/cleared in our account. Delegates are responsible for any bank fees and/or any foreign currency translation fees associated with their payments and Resources 4 Africa reserves the right to recover these charges where appropriate.

Resources 4 Africa’s banking details for payment via FNB (First National Bank), a division of FirstRand Bank Limited, are available on request from our support team.

Delivery Policy
Delegate registrations to attend our conferences and workshops will be processed electronically. Information on how to access the conference or workshop, either in-person or virtually as applicable, by the attending delegate(s) named on the order, will be sent to the attendee(s) and/or their specified representatives electronically by Resources 4 Africa in advance of the event date.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Resources 4 Africa is not obliged to refund the sum, or any portion thereof, paid by you. We will consider a partial refund in extenuating circumstances submitted in writing to [email protected]. The question as to whether a partial refund is given or not will be decided upon by Resources 4 Africa entirely within our own unfettered discretion.
Monitoring
We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the website).
Law
The conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, whose courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in any way and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement, I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Resources 4 Africa for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me
