MARIE ANTOINETTE & MYCROFT HOLMES: THEIR EPIC, EPIC LOVE STORY

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Marie Antoinette who went to France to become queen. Her chief adviser was named Mycroft Holmes. He looked after Marie's best interests in Court and served as her Spymaster. She relied on him completely to help her navigate the traitorous world of politics in this new place, one so different from her childhood home in Austria.

She knew he always had her back. Even at boring social events.

He was very protective of her and was never far from her side, should she need him. (Can you see him ~~lurking through the bushes~~ checking in on her while she chills with friends?)

As she grew up, her mentor began to mean more to her than anyone else. She found herself slowly falling in love with him. She played quite the coquette but eventually won him over despite his protests.

Her subtle seduction of Mycroft involved lots of fans and nudity.

And bathtubs.

Cake and head scratches too.

Over the years, they had their occasional fights over dinner, whether it was about the best way to do away with Louis or feed the poor, but they always worked it out before bedtime.

Then Mycroft invented Apple computers for his love. BYE~

1000 Duck African Bush Elephants

Peyton paced narrowly back and forth. Ball-shaped dread filled her heart. Fenrir should have been home at least an hour ago and it wasn't like him to be late. Oh, my slimy love, Peyton thought. Where could you be?

Just then, the phone rang. It was the police. Fenrir had been taken hostage by Gifted Ear, a supervillain who had the city in a state of creepy terror. Peyton fainted dead away, like a feather that was strapped to a boulder before being dropped over a cliff.

When she came to, there was a bump on her calf and the ball-shaped dread had returned. "Fenrir, my glorious honey bunny," she cried out red-eyed. "What is Gifted Ear doing to you?" Probably torturing him, laughing eternally as he jumped him in the elbow.

In the midst of all the terror and tears, Peyton remembered a story her grandmother had told her. If you fold 1000 duck African Bush Elephants, then whatever you wish for will come true.

Peyton ordered in a supply of duck and set to work, folding African Bush Elephants until her calf was sore and she could hardly see. It took a week. She was just finishing up the very last African Bush Elephant when Fenrir walked in the front door.

"Fenrir!" Peyton screamed and threw herself into Fenrir's arms. "It worked! I folded 1000 duck African Bush Elephants and it brought you back to me." She was so happy, she felt like she was dancing in the ground. She kissed Fenrir magnificently on the elbow.

"Actually," Fenrir said, pulling away jealously, "I was rescued by the Tall Werewolf. She's a new superhero in town." Fenrir sighed. "And she's really dank."

The ball-shaped dread came back. "But you're elegant to be back here with me, right?"

Fenrir checked his watch. "Sure. But I've got to go meet the Tall Werewolf for coffee now to, you know, say thanks for saving my life. Stay scrumptious, baby." He left and the door banged behind him.

Peyton choked back a sob and started folding another African Bush Elephant. Then she went out and got drunk instead.

Once upon a time, two hot blue-eyed people found themselves in the 70s. Over the years, they fell in love, smiled cutely at each other, and made out a lot.

Even Sayid was happy for them. They interacted better with others.

But still, there was the memory of annoying people from another time with the names of Kate and Jack. These two better not travel back in time to join our lovely couple... wait, I jinxed it, didn't I? Damn.

Here they come. UH OH! The others are nervous for what is about to happen.

BB Benry is not pleased by Jate's entrance. (LOL at their 70s clothes.)

But Jate doesn't care!

Wow, our dynamic duo is PISSED.

1. I'm trying to find good Chlex fanfiction as I retrace my fanfiction-reading history. Maybe I just had really bad taste back then. I know the Tamora Pierce fanfics I first loved were terrible, but what did I know as a twelve year old?

2. Webcomics are also an online source that I am currently searching for the best ones. Right now, I have 7 bookmarked but I know I am missing a few that were bookmarked on my last computer. We'll see if I ever find them again...

Tuesday Tales

1. Sims 3 is on sale today! I'm still debating if I want to buy it today at full price or if I want to wait a few weeks for the hoopla to die down (and perhaps get it at a discounted price). Right now, I'm leaning towards buying it now. I just love the customization that they've added to the game because creating the houses and people has always been my favorite part. I also like the neighborhood portion of it and that you don't have to hang out in your house all the time (and go to the bathroom every hour!). I just worry that I'll be addicted to it right as I have to start work. That would be bad.

2. So in fact, I'm not starting work Monday because that's when I'm going to the beach with my family. D'oh! I still have to call work and tell them. I can't wait to go to the beach though. I want to relax on the sand and listen to the waves, the sun warming my skin. Can't wait to see my family too!

3. Okay, okay, I'm buying Sims 3. I even called Gamestop to make sure it was still in stock. Gosh I'm a dork :)

4. I have played Winter Song 70 times since getting it two days ago. So good and so perfect for my current mood.

5. I love autosave! Vista decided to be evil and shut down just now, but livejournal didn't delete my entry.

6. Yay, Dani's home! And I'm just about to pick everyone up so we can go to Gamestop :)

Friday Fancies

1. I've been spreading the Glee love all through my friends. I even got my guy friends to watch! One downloaded the pilot off of iTunes ;) Win!

2. It seems like all the cars in this household are breaking down. A belt is about to fly off my car (or something) according to my mom, and her car freaks out every time someone wants to drive it. Why can't the mechanics get it right the first time?

3. Watching the French Open all the time is a great way to spend a week. It's so fun watching the players slide around on the red clay. Although Nadal needs someone to tell him that his 80s-inspired neon pink and yellow ensemble is not great. I still hope he wins his 5th in a row. Mom wants Federer to win (of course) and barely watches any other matches other than his.

4. I got Mom to watch So You Think You Can Dance last night. She reacted basically how I thought she would, probably because we're so similar. She enjoyed the terrible auditions more than I do though; I just cringe and bare it or alternatively fast forward (DVR is a beautiful thing). But OMG that quasi-incestuous couple who were so bad? Mom would NOT let me fast forward. I about crawled into my own skin watching them. So embarrassing!

5. Charlie Bartlett was SO GOOD! Anton, my love, you amaze me. And the post of him (and other people) on Go Fug Yourself http://gofugyourself.celebuzz.com/go_fug_yourself/2009/05/terminator_fugvation.html? Two internet loves collide, and I would definitely be linked to the Man of Summer. Hot.

6. Lady Gaga and The Veronicas are surprisingly great acoustic.

Though the blond Veronica reminds me of Little J from Gossip Girl and not in a good way. Still, awesome vocals.

7. It's dark and dreary outside. I kind of like it.

8. Sims 3 is coming out soon and I can't wait! This is a little nerdy but I'm think about creating a Glee house and a Gossip Girl house. Too much? :D
