Karthan is a roguelike card game where you run a card shop by day and duel by night. The current goal is to survive 10 days while not going bankrupt as the increasing rent catches up to you.  

- HOW TO PLAY (TL;DR)
Other then the technical stuff, so you start by choosing one of the 3 starter packs, you also start with 150$ which you can use by pressing E on the computer (come close to the middle object on the left) and click the card shop and buy any of the ones you like!
Drag or click on any cards you want to sell while interacting with one of the stands. If you get a HERO card from packs OR battles you can enable it from the Hero App on the computer (you will know when you get it, its different outline). It is quite op but low chance on getting. The last app is upgrades while you should make sure to get, get it at least on day 2+ so you don't lose to debt early on but they will increase your revenue.

You can access your deck/backpack when you press B, drag or click cards from your backpack to your DECK so you can play with them on the battle's, that's important. 

Otherwise you click being shop after putting the cards on the stand then go to the cashier (the long object on the left) and wait for them to go there and press E when they have an offer. You can switch up the price on the cards but that's WIP still mainly. Otherwise choose a location in Night Map and then see what you want, every encounter is basically randomized but from a select pool so it will be different.

Oh you also lose -15$ to rent day 1 and it increases by 5$ EVERY DAY so make sure you have enough. Then you get to the Battle Scene and the fun begins but that's quite obvious.

I had a ton of fun making and balancing the cards, it's truly what I have fun doing, and I really want to add more, although because of time restrictions I can not complete this game as it stands so any donations would be greatly appreciated so one day I have tangible reason to be able to complete this, thank you!!

- Card Types

Currently there are 88 total cards in the game and 7 different types.

Attack — Deal pure damage.

Defense — Gain block to absorb hits and use them as damage.

Blood — High risk, high reward, using HP to deal damage.

Rogue — Fast, combo-based cards that reward combos.

Sleight — Trick cards that copy, double, and manipulate.

Plunder — Steal cards, punish blockers, swarm attacks.

Wisdom — Mana manipulation and utility.

- Early Prototype

This is an early work in progress, I currently have no real art other then one that I have made which is for the player (I have no art experience)... 

I appreciate any donations to make this more a reality and actually find people to pay for art.

I welcome all feedback,  any bugs (there will be many) and about balance as it's not been finalized! Made solo in Unity 6 with C#.
