Amy Lea "This is the last fucking song so you better fucking rock your ass off" Evanescence rule!
OMG Evanescence were sooooooooooooooooooooooooo bloody brilliant its unbelievable!!!! After waiting just over hour listening to some pretty poor starting bands with the only amusing element being one of the guitarists acting like a total dick swinging his guitar around his neck using his strap...but when she came on stage it all changed the album does not do her justice her voice is ten times better live than what it is on the cd!!! She came on with this goregeous alice in wonderland style dress but instead of blue and white the skirt was white with wording on it (looked like evanescence and title tracks (could be wrong though too far away to see) the top and the pinny were pink in colour and she had pink netting it was so cute!! There were not as many twelve year olds as i thought and the view for her was excellant no matter where you stand you got a good view. She sang beautifully the tracks My Immortal and Taking over me..in fact i have a voice recording on my phone..not very clear though..
However, who would think 5 hours before the gig i was convincing myself not going to the gig at all due to my mate backing out 24 hours before and being unable to find anyone else to come. The big thankies for this one goes to jay who as my mum would put it "put me in a big black bin bag and shook me up" saying "Dont you dare dont go youve been waiting 2 months to go to this concert" which made me reconsider. Call me sad lol but a gig is something that you enjoy with others and i was worried about getting back later as you can imagine 3000 people trying to call taxis using public transport etc it would have been a nightmare to get home but it wasnt as bad as i thought in fact i wished i hadnt caught a taxi there as i could have got there within ten minutes lol lessons to be learned there lol. Came back with a nice evanescence long sleeve top which keeps me warm and comfy. Matt very nicely in the end agreed to come with me at the last moment which was nice of him so thank you!
Today has been an odd one i have slept alright but i still feel tired but i think its becoz im coming down with a cold again the third one in the row. Nevermind...Anyways im off to play with the clickits ive just bought later xxx
