About Me
I’m a Ph.D. student at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), pursuing my degree under the guidance of Prof. Xu Kong and Prof. Hong-Xin Zhang.
My research focuses on Astronomy and Astrophysics, specifically studying the morphology and metallicity of extragalactic emission line galaxies. I am particularly interested in exploring nearby metal-poor and strong-emission-line galaxies, as well as high-redshift galaxies. These galaxies play a crucial role in understanding the formation and evolution of galaxies throughout cosmic time.
I was born and bred in Xiangtan, Hunan province, a small city with rich cuisine and beautiful scenery. This city has born numerous outstanding individuals who have left their mark on recent Chinese history.
Lastly and most importantly, My girl friend, Xinwen Zhang is a very cute girl and holds a Master’s degree from USTC and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree in biophysics at UdeM.
