ABOUT

This online platform connects educators, community organizers, parents, youth, and adults of all ages to explore and book programs offered by arts organizations in the Pikes Peak Region of Colorado. Discover a rich array of opportunities from music, to theatre, to visual art, to dance!

Educators, arts are a means for students to explore the world around them, build confidence, think critically, and work collaboratively. Often aligned with state standards, find a program that enhances your classroom. Include an arts-integrated workshop to supplement your curriculum, take a field trip to see a show, or find professional development.

Community Members (including community organizers, parents, youth, and adults of all ages), there are unique learning experiences in the arts for everyone! Parents, find an out-of-school program or a summer camp that develops skills in the arts, engages the imagination, and encourages curiosity in your child. Adults, explore a wide range of classes, workshops, and camps to deepen your artistic skills or dabble in an artform you’ve been wanting to try. Some programs offer classes specifically for creative aging (55+), the military, and young adults. Search by “Population Served” on the right.

Arts Organizations, become part of the PeakArtsEd community and submit your programs for educators and community members to find. Get Support or use this How-To Guide to help you build your profile and programs.

PeakArtsEd EXPERIENCES

TESTIMONIALS

When a school makes a purposeful effort to educate using the arts, content is learned on a much deeper level. Arts taught in a way that enhances creativity and is more engaging for the teachers and students. This is a place where risks are taken, laughter is heard, and the whole child is educated.

Ian Schimmel
Assistant Principal, Widefield Elementary School of the Arts

As an arts educator for 25 years, the creative experiences of students are the enduring memories of school. They may not remember every class, but will remember the artistic experiences that made an impact.

Chip MacEnulty
Retired HS Drama Teacher

The arts create a space wherein a community can civically and civilly question and wonder. … We need the arts in our communities to learn to really listen again.

Joye Cook-Levy
Education Director, Green Box Arts

Embracing the arts isn’t just about painting or dancing; it’s about nurturing creativity and resilience. At Columbia Elementary, an integrated arts education is the cornerstone of how we teach. … Our students learn to innovate, collaborate, and express themselves authentically, preparing them to excel in a diverse and ever-changing world.

Principal, Columbia Elementary
