APPLE WATCH
PeakDay now works with Apple Watch. Wear your watch to sleep and sync when you wake up!
To use PeakDay with Apple Watch you need a model with temperature sensors, such as Apple Watch Series 8 or Apple Watch Ultra.
FITBIT
Fitbit users can sync their body temperature data to PeakDay to track temperature. Wear your watch to sleep and sync when you wake up!


OURA RING
If you want to measure overnight but prefer wearing something on your finger, PeakDay also integrates with the Oura Ring.

- How do I set up my watch?
- To set up the Apple Watch integration from your existing PeakDay Account, go into your PeakDay app and tap Settings>Connect/Disconnect Device. Agree to Acknowledgment and select Connect/Disconnect Device. A pop-up with device options will appear. Click Connect next to Apple Watch. Click Open in PeakDay.

- There are so many options in the Apple Watch and Apple Health Apps. What do I need to turn on?
- In your Apple Watch app, go into Sleep>toggle Track Sleep with Apple Watch.
- You will need to create a schedule for your watch to manage your sleep. Select “Manage Sleep Focus in Settings” within Sleep.
- Within “Sleep Focus,” select your schedule and toggle “Schedule” ON.
- Manually entering your temperature will override the syncing of your temperature. If you enter manually, the temperature will not sync for the day. You will need to wait 24 hours for your temperature to sync
- Did your temperature not sync, and you are unsure what your temperature was?
- Go into your Apple Health App. Select Body Measurements.
- From here you can select Wrist Temperature.
- All temperatures taken with your watch will be listed here. Select the day that you need to view your temperature.
- Make sure your Apple Watch is a Series 8 or newer. Watches before Series 8 do not take wrist temperatures.
- Linking a device is new to PeakDay! Make sure you are on the most recent update of PeakDay to link your device. Older versions of PeakDay do not have devices listed as an option.
- Why won’t my Apple Watch sync my temperature to PeakDay??
- Apple Health AND PeakDay must be open at the same time to sync.
- Your Apple watch will establish a baseline temperature based on your wrist temperature while sleeping. Remember, you must have your sleep toggled ON within your Apple Health app.
- You need to be wearing your watch for at least 5 full days to establish a baseline.
- You must get at least 4 hours of sleep a night for your watch to sync the temperature.
- Your watch might be too loose. Make sure your watch band is snug to your wrist as it may not take your temperature, otherwise.
- Apple Health tips
- In the Apple Health app, set up your Sleep Schedule. You must set up the Sleep Schedule and turn Sleep Focus ON during your sleep for the wrist temperature data to be collected. We recommend you turn ON ‘Use Schedule for Sleep Focus,’ which will enable Sleep Focus automatically based on the Sleep Schedule.

- How do I set up my Fitbit?
- To set up the Fitbit integration from your existing PeakDay Account, go into your PeakDay app and tap Settings>Connect/Disconnect Device. Agree to acknowledgment and select Connect/Disconnect Device. A pop-up will appear, select Connect Fitbit. The Fitbit app will open and prompt you to check off all the required boxes> select Allow.

- Disconnect your Fitbit from PeakDay and reconnect to the PeakDay app.
- Go to the Fitbit website (from the device you use the Fitbit app on) and log out from the Fitbit General tips and tricks
- Linking devices is new to PeakDay! Make sure you have the most recent update of PeakDay to link your device. Older versions of PeakDay do not have Devices listed as an option.
- Not all Fitbits will take a wrist temperature. Make sure your Fitbit is one of the following models when trying to sync your device with PeakDay:
- Fitbit - Versa 3
- Fitbit - Charge 5
- Fitbit - Sense
- Fitbit - Versa 2
- Fitbit - Luxe
- Why won’t my Fitbit sync my temperature to PeakDay?
- Your first temperature will be recorded 24 hours after setting up your device on PeakDay.
- The Fitbit app AND PeakDay must be open at the same time to sync. The Fitbit app and PeakDay will then sync your temperature every 5 minutes.
- You must get at least 3 hours of sleep a night for your Fitbit to sync your temperature.
- Your Fitbit will establish a baseline temperature based on your temperature while sleeping. Remember, you must have your sleep toggled ON within your Fitbit app.
- If you have never managed to sync temperature trends from Fitbit to PeakDay, it may be that you used the incorrect email address to authenticate your Fitbit
- When connecting your Fitbit account to Peakday, you are asked to log into the Fitbit There, you should enter the email address that you used to create your Fitbit account. You can see which email address is attached to your Fitbit account on the Settings page in the Fitbit App.
