101 Things/Kinks in Fiction Meme Part 10

First day back at work... It could have been worse, because i was with two strong colleagues, but it still wasn't good...

91. Drugs or alcohol. ✔
Especially that moment between having fun and realising it’s too much. Getting completely wasted. Drunk Sex. Functional alcoholism.

92. Rough sex.
Between characters who are completely in love with each other. Especially sparring!sex between warriors whatever.

93. Lazy, warm, happy sex. ✔
As much as I love the drama, occasionally, it is really lovely to read something really happy.

94. Armour.
Especially gauntlets. Helmets. Putting on armour, taking it off.

95. Kink-gone-wrong.
Followed by comfort. Kink-gone-right that includes the aftercare.

96. Funeral rites.
Funeral rites in different cultures. Fantasy worlds with made up funeral rites.

97. Hugs
From behind. Unexpected hugs. Hugs that go on a little too long. Hugs in general.

98. Birthday Sex. ✔
One character focusing their entire attention on the other without expecting anything in return.

99. Intelligent Authors.
Any author who can write a Sherlock like deduction or a Hustle-like con is my absolute hero.

100. Disturbing Themes.
Such as the original versions of many fairy tales. Struwwelpeter. Slenderman. Anything that is unsettling/wrong/creepy/disturbing.

101. Flirting.
I love a character who knows that they are good looking and use that to their advantage. Awkward flirting is also good. Friendly flirting that is never going to go anywhere (and both involved know it)

And that is my list. 101 kinks/things i love in fiction.
I think I'll start with a 30 days of fiction meme tomorrow. I really want to succeed with this posting everyday for a month thing!

101 Things/Kinks in Fiction Meme Part 9

My holiday is officially over. I have to go back to work today. And I am dreading it so much. I've been in that hotel for exactly one year now and I can't stand it anymore. I know I said hated it when I started there, but it is getting worse and worse...
Well, at least my last day ended nicely with new Poldark. And, without wanting to spoil anything let me just say, boy, what a bad hair day that was.

81. Research, research, research! ✔
Anyone can tell you that I love a thorough research. I can spend days researching something that will be mentioned in the story in just a half-sentence. And I wish I was exaggerating… I love to read a story that is well researched and the author really seems to know what they are talking about.
I once read a story set in England. I really, really enjoyed it up to the point where the main character seriously needed an ambulance. Like, it was life and death but he told his friends they shouldn’t call one, because he couldn’t afford an ambulance and hospital. I could not continue to read that story because that was such a massive mistake. Getting that right would have changed the entire story. The character would probably have survived, for one… And if the author would have been a little more clever they could have gone a million different ways to NOT get the character to the hospital in time. That was just lazy and I don’t like lazy authors who do not put in their research-time.

82. While one character is on the phone.
Not so much phone sex. Just one character being on the phone with anyone, their mother, their banker, a telemarketer. Anyone, really and the other character pulling out all the stops to make them break focus on the conversation.

83. Underwear
Particularly if it is an unexpected colour. Girls in boys underwear. Boys in girls underwear, occasionally. Accurate description of underwear in a culture. (Like when Dwaves in Hobbit Fics often wear something that is easily taken off, when actually they wear full-body underwear.)

84. Arguments.
Loud, passionate arguments. Arguments where one character says the worst thing they can say. Arguments that destroy everything.

85. Genderfuckery.
Not so much gender fluidity or transgender characters. While I am perfectly happy to read stories about them, that isn’t my kink. For me it’s people who are happy with their gender cross-dressing. And men who get off on being called a good girl. Brilliant Drag Queens. Actually… Drag Queens deserve their own spot on the list, so:

86. Drag Queens. ✔
I grew up being told that Drag Queens were weird men and should be avoided. And I think I actually agree a little bit, when we are talking about the drag queens that were around 20 years ago that were clowns rather than illusionists. But there is so much talent out there now, it is amazing and I love to read stories that has at least one really good, talented, funny queen in it.

87. Background noises. ✔
Refrigerators humming, music playing, traffic outside.

88. Chubby Characters.
Especially soft stomachs and round hips. Even better is the character isn’t at all ashamed of/worried about not being skinny.

89. Humiliation. ✔
Especially if the character being humiliated didn’t ask for it.

90. Underestimating a Character
People who are perfectly happy to be underestimated, and use that fact all the time.

101 Things/Kinks in Fiction Meme Part 8

Finally new Poldark today! I've enjoyed all the promotion for Season 2 immensely. I could have done without the unpleasantness this morning. The future husband kissing a gorgeous woman - not the thing you want to see first thing in the morning!!! ;D My tumblr has been quite chill about it, though. Like, for ONCE my tumblr has been chill about something *lol*

71. Stories set in the middle of nowhere.
The characters could be stranded in the middle of nowhere or want to get away from their busy, busy lives for a while. I don’t care. As long as there is no WiFi.

72. Clothes that don't fit quite right.
Maybe they belong to another character or maybe the character wearing them has body issues and tries to cover up.

73. Weather that doesn't match what's happening in the story.
Super sunny funerals, rain pissing down when the main character realises they are in love.

74. Prostitution. ✔
I would like to think that it is what I am known for in my current fandom. Writing it, I mean. I actually liked what I did in my attempt to make it sound like a real job, not super glamorous and not the worst thing ever, but a job with upsides and downsides. I would love to read more stories like that. But I also love forced prostitution and characters who really hate what they are doing but can’t seem to get out of it. On the other hand, characters really loving it are rare but also brilliant!

75. Unequal states of dress.
As in one character is naked while the other is still dressed. Both purposeful or accidental. Sex fully clothed is great as well.

76. Orgasm Denial. ✔
I once didn’t allow my character to have an orgasm for pretty much an entire chapter. And I loved it. ;)

77. Backstory.
Well thought out character backstory that takes into account time and place and how that creates a person and how they react to things.

78. Long, rambling narratives.
I wish I could do this, but I can’t. So I just enjoy reading it.

79. Kneeling. ✔
Especially when it’s painful.

80. Bad days.
Particularly when it’s an emotionally bad day, rather than the typical, getting caught in the rain without an umbrella and break stuff type of bad day. I actually have had kid-fic idea revolving around this in my mind, but I never got around to writing it.

101 Things/Kinks in Fiction Meme Part 7

I'm back in Hamburg and I feel kind of... i need to change things in my life. First off, get a new job. Maybe even move. I can't do those things until after New Zealand, but i guess that gives me time to figure things out and plan.

61. Power Imbalance. ✔
In a good way. If character A is physically much stronger than B and can easily overpower B and have their way with B and does. Or doesn’t, actually, but there is always a bit of tension/ecitement because they *could*.
Also in a bad way. I enjoy a story in which a character abuses the power they have over another character and if done well I enjoy that steering into non or dubcon territory.

62. Casual, comfortable physicality.
One person shoving another out of the way, pulling them close, grabbing their arm absent minded to hold them back when they are walking in traffic. Anything that shows that two people have no touch boundaries.

63. Age Difference. ✔
I only realised this while writing My Only Sunshine, but I love a bit of an age difference. Especially when both characters look similar and have a similar body type etc. and the older character starts to compare their bodies and realises that even a few years of age difference show on their body.

64. Quiet, Non-Showy Forgiveness.
Characters forgiving each other for mistakes and fuck ups and missed opportunities and lies without grand gestures and dramatic relationships talks. Also if mistakes/fuck ups/lies etc aren’t forgiven in a flash, but it takes some time. Even better if a characters says they have forgiven the other, but then throws the thing back in their face another time. And even better still, if they have actually forgiven the other character, but just brought it up to hurt them and then they feel terrible about it.

65. Penetration with foreign objects.
The more foreign the better.

66. Toys in Public.
Plugs worn in public or a small vibrator shoved down a characters knickers. Also a bit of dirty talk in public, especially if it’s done in a “secret language” so that no one else gets it.

67. Dumb characters. ✔
I know I said before that I like clever characters, but I also love dumb characters a lot. I love the stories in which Fili and Kili are dumb as rocks but are still lovable and manage to save the day due to pure luck. I also love it when a normal character has their moment of stupidity or an area where they just blank (maths for example). Joey on Friends.
I got a bit of negative feedback for doing this in a story and giving a character the “flaw” of sometimes being a little slow to catch up with things (in a loving way!)… I know it’s always difficult to add flaws when writing RPF, but I thought it made the character more lovable.

68. Rushed Sex
Sex that is rushed or incomplete and leaves one party unsatisfied.

69. One character walking away from another.
Without a word.

70. Characters puttering around the kitchen.
More domesticity :)

101 Things/Kinks in Fiction Meme Part 6

Does anyone remember when it was widely acceptable to refer to stories with mature contents "lemons"? :D

I am still struggling with my Ghost story, because I'm coming near the end and... there is the ending that I know the story needs. It was always my plan to give it a happy-ish end and that is exactly the right thing for the story. ... But I want to write an entirely different ending. It's not what anyone would expect, but it is so far away from the original idea that I worry.
Is it wrong to write two endings???

Oh and, I can't deal with RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. These eliminations are too much for me! I'm not kidding. I have to stop the show for a bit once the bottom contestants are announced before I can watch the actual elimination.

51. Kissing.
I could read chapters and chapters of character doing nothing but kissing.

52. The slow reveal.✔ *
Where you build up your picture of what's really going on as you're reading. The "holy shit" moment, where suddenly you realize that everything you've been assuming is actually completely wrong; when the author has given you all the pieces to get to what's right, but done so in such a way to lead you to the wrong conclusions as the story develops. The use of negative space -- things that are clearly there (in the author's concept of the characters, their history, their backstory, events that have gone on, etc) but are built by showing the secondary influences and leaving the reader to slowly realize.
*I am not trying to say that I’ve done it *well*, but The Luck of the Irish was my attempt at doing it and I think ONE person commented, saying that they didn’t see the plot twist coming, but only realised all the clues I’ve given after thinking about it.

53. Sexuality. ✔
Characters who are completely comfortable with sexuality, their own or someone else's or characters who are uncomfortable, but do their best to be accepting. Parents coming to terms with their children’s sexuality.

54. Sleeping together.
Sleeping together, not having anything to do with sex, just curling up in the same bed.

55. Domesticity. ✔
I think I may have mentioned before that I love long term relationships and domesticity, nesting, houseporn, that’s where it’s at.

56. Imperfection. ✔
A character does something for the first time and is immediately perfect at doing it… even worse, when they make a complete mess in the process, but the result is perfect. For example, when a character bakes a cake for the first time. The kitchen is on fire, there are no eggs left in a 5km radius but the cake is PERFECTION. No. Unless it is intentionally really, really cracky, NO. I also love it when a character does something for the first time and feels like the ugliest/dumbest/most unskilled person in the room, even though from everyone else’s pov they are fine. Or the other way round, when a character thinks, yeah, I look hot/did well and everyone else is like: eh.

57. Everything but Sex.
Pretty much self-explanatory. I particularly love it when the characters waaaant to have sex but can't because of the circumstances, like not having a condom, that time of the month, character had a big, greasy lunch and anal isn't a good idea, short term medical reasons, etc.

58. Pets.
Pets that play an actual role in the character's life. Not just a cute plot device, something to meet guys and cuddle when the character is sad. but an actual presence in the story. Like a cat that jumps onto the bed every time the characters get it on, or a dog that needs to be walked, even though it is Sunday-morning and raining and it is much more comfortable in bed. Scratches from not delivering the food fast enough and chewed up shoes.

59. Oral Sex. ✔
Someone really, really, really enjoying giving head. And realistic deep throating. Awkward BJs.

60. Treating horrible things lightly.
Because if the character doesn't they will scream and never stop. This includes black humor, weary and wry acceptance of weirdness ("oh, look, I woke up in the street without clothes again...").

101 Things/Kinks in Fiction Meme Part 5

This 101 meme really inspires me. I have a million ideas for things I would love to write. Particularly a prequel to the Ghost story. But first off i need to finish writing that...

41. Long Term Relationships.
Couples have been together for a long time and romance has to make way for everyday life. Ordinariness. Being astonishingly comfortable around one another. People who have been in a relationship for a long time and still find each other sexy.

42. Characters who admit that they're not fine, and solicit help. ✔
This is one of the Buffy quotes I will always remember. “A cry for help is saying help in a loud voice”. I dislike people in real life who do things, call them “a cry for help” when all it really is, is a cry for attention. It’s the same with fiction. I like it when characters know when to ask for help.

43. The mindful preparation, description and savouring of tea.
I don’t need to explain this one, but I want to. One of the things that stayed with me from my time in Ireland was the tea. I remember one day, there was a fire in the neighbourhood and the lady who lived in the house basically saw her life burn down and my host mother took her into the house and started making tea. It was so surreal and yet so right. Especially in a fandom with characters that grew up in a tea-drinking environment I think it’s amazing to include tea in the story.

44. Nervous BDSM.
We’ve all read the story, where the newcomer to BDSM comes out with a whip and tops the hell out of their partner. No. Seriously, no! I love to read about a nervous character who is pushing their limits to make their partner happy.

45. Post-apocalypse.
I love to see how people pick up the pieces and put their world back together.

46. Geography ✔
Accurate descriptions of geographical regions, cities, streets. I put a lot of effort into making sure I know every corner my characters turn by using google streetview and know how long it takes to go from point A to B. While I don’t expect other authors to do the same (because, let’s face it, it’s crazy!) but I expect the author to know landmarks and climate and stuff if they are used in the story.

47. Sweetness.
When warranted. Also sweet, kind, cheerful, forgiving characters who are pushed and pushed until they finally run out of mercy.

48. Really tight tight points of view.
When the authorial voice and the character voice are so close that even the narrative language sounds like the character thinking.

49. Long, plotty stories.
Where a romantic relationship is part of the plot but isn't the primary driver of the plot.

50. Well-rounded, deeply-thought-out, vivid secondary/tertiary characters.
There is almost nothing worse than boring secondary/etc characters.

101 Things/Kinks in Fiction Meme Part 4

I spent the entire day with my niece and nephews yesterday. I went to the playground with Liah and she was a bit upset, because the playground didn't have the "good" equipment and there were no other children there, buuuut why do you need kids your age when you're with your 33 year old aunt-child? I hopped on the swings and went down the smallest slide ever and eventually I convinced her that it was fun and then we had a blast. :)
At least until we saw a very heavy man and Liah asked me (shouting across the playground) if the man was having a baby, too. (He mother and other aunt both recently had babies, so i guess the idea wasn't too far fetched.) So embarrassing... ^^'

31. Well-done kid!fic and good parenting.
Well written kids that make me want my own. Appropriate storylines that aren't too sweet or too dark. Fail!parents, or, rather, parents who do the best they can by their kids under the circumstances. Characters whom you would not expect to be very good with children being great babysitters/godparents.

32. One catches the other Masturbating.
Especially if it doesn't result in sex.

33. Cleverness in the face of danger.
When I was a kid, one of my favourite books was called "Stop - Danger". It was basically an escape room game about a boy who woke up in a strange house and had to work his way out of it, by solving deadly puzzles and stuff. I loved that then and I still love it when a character needs to be clever to survive.

34. "DVD commentaries".
I looooove, when an author explains their process. When I can go and ask "why did you write that scene in that way"? When I get a glimpse of the way an author ticks. I love that! Sadly you don't get a lot of that from good stories/authors. Sorry to say, but very often these comments are pretty much like: "I wrote this because they are soooo cuuuuute together" and not as insightful as I would like it to be.

35. Angry Sex.
Really rough, shove-y sex, angry sex. Fighting, where sex is just another round in the ring.

36. Gross Stuff. ✔
This is the kink i am probably most surprised by because I absolutely hate it in real life, but in fiction I absolutely love gross stuff. Blood. Gore. Whatever comes out of a human body, i love it.

37. Nicknames and Name Calling and Surnames.
People calling each other things like "you fucking imbecile" which roughly translates to "love of my life", but also things like "baby", if it isn't overdone. I very much love the use of surnames, particularly during sex.

38. Endurance. ✔
Characters who grit their teeth and keep going because they have to. Because the world won't stop turning. They fall down and get up and keep going even if everything is fucked up and giving up would be so much easier.

39. Authors who are totally fearless.
Authors who do not care if they will get praised for what they write. Who do not care if what they write uncomfortable or if it will get them in trouble with the fandom. As long as it is right for the characters and the story.

40. Unreliable narrators.
When the narrator is telling us something over and over and over again, and yet we know that it's wrong, or the narrator's self-delusional, or there's been a misunderstanding, etc.

101 Things/Kinks in Fiction Meme Part 3

I broke a tooth yesterday and went to the dentist straight away this morning. Really annoyed, because the dentist scolded me for not getting that tooth fixed since 2012. I told him that I went to the dentist between 2012 and now and while she fixed other problems she didn't say anything about that particular tooth! Anyway. Root canal part one for me and then part two coming soon. Meh.

I applied for a passport today and they told me I should bring my old passport when I pick up the new one. Errrr. yeah... The old one expired in 2004... I doubt that I sill have it. :(

This posting daily thing is really fun. I may not have much to say, but I enjoy it. On we go with the list.

21. Shirtsleeves pushed up past the elbows.
Especially if it's a crisp, white Oxford. Ratty, plaid workshirts are also good.

22. Silly, giggly sex. ✔
I adore a couple that makes each other crack up during sex and get distracted and sidetracked. Particularly if sex isn't treated like a project that needs to be seen through from A to B. I also love dry, coherent banter during sex, especially when it turns incoherent after a while.

23. Almost getting caught. Or getting caught.
Like, literally, seconds left to finish and get dressed before someone walks in. And sometimes not making it. This also involves loud sex without knowing that someone else can hear.

24. Wake up In the middle of the night and have sex (then go back to sleep).
I like reading sleepy sex and this is a step above morning sex.

25. Safewords.
I once spend an entire afternoon researching english football clubs, because I needed a safeword for a sex scene that meant something to the character. Unfortunately, I never used the scene... but I love it when the author uses a safeword for the characters that has meaning for them.

26. Competent punctuation.
Oxford commas, correct use of space (like not putting a space in front of punctuation marks) restraint when using punctuation marks (one ! is enough!). I have to admit, I am struggling a bit with this one, because I mix up German, AE and BE punctuation...

27. Sex games.
Who comes first loses. Sex truth or dare. Games like that. So much fun!

28. Casual sex. ✔
Not so much meaningless sex, but sex that isn't the most epic thing every time it happens. I love to read about long-term couples where sex isn't the most life changing experience EVERY TIME but something normal, squeezed in between work, dropping the kids off at football and shopping for groceries.

29. Sex in a really dirty place.
Like a festival toilet. The alley behind an itty bitty pub where the ceiling drips with humidity, near the bins. (Lol, that was very specific). Anywhere in Dhaka, Bangladesh, apparently the dirtiest city in the world.

30. Well dressed characters.
Particularly well dressed men who can put an outfit together without help. I also love not-so-well dressed characters interacting with well dressed characters, especially when they are in a relationship. I like it when the not so well dressed character feels self-conscious about what they look like next to their well dressed partner and the well dressed partner not caring at all or the well dressed partner being embarrassed to be seen in public with the not so well dressed partner.
I also love to read about women who just cannot dress well. Or think they can't because of their body type.

101 Things/Kinks in Fiction Meme Part 2

I am staying at my parent's for a few days and I really enjoy spending time with my niece, Liah. She is 3 years old and quite a handful. My parents and I took her to a wildlife park yesterday and I loved how smart she was around the animals. While other children her age were running towards them and screaming she was very calm. She even told one kid to stop screaming at a resting camel. She was all: "Can't you see he's sleeping???" So proud of her. I mean, I get that some children don't grow up around animals. Liah knows dogs, reptiles, parrots and cats and I am sure particularly the cats have taught her NOT to disturb them when they are resting, but isn't that where the parents come in? If I take my kid to the park to learn about animals isn't the first thing I teach them not to be a dick?
I have two new nephews as well, one is 2 month old and the other one is just a week old and they are both super cute.

I am a bit fed up with fandom at the moment. Some of you may have heard of the Hollywood Collector's Con in Tokyo. It was the big reunion of Aidan and Dean and from the fotos and videos and reports of people who have actually been there, it clearly was a fantastic time for everyone. But the theories of people who haven't been there just make me sick. Seriously. There was one person who knocked the nonsense and bullshit out of the park by saying Aidan was only happy and relaxed because he was on medication and is basically just a step away from suicide because fans won't leave him alone. She didn't use those exact same words, but that was pretty much the message. Really? Really, really? She deleted her post, but I can't unread it, you know? And I know, I KNOW, it's tumblr and i shouldn't even go there, but that is where the pretty pictures aaaare. :)

Anyway, on to part two of my meme.

11. Traveling and Roadtrips. ✔
Long journeys, a lot of time spent on the road and the description of new places

12. Sex that isn't described in a sexy way.
This can go very, very wrong, but when it's done well, it's amazing. The characters can have the best sex EVER, but it is written in a awkward, tactless, overly realistic or even eww way and still works, that's magic!

13. Sex that isn't perfect. ✔
Sometimes sex isn't mindblowing. The first time with a new partner? Awkward, rather than two bodies coming together in a perfectly synchronized, earth-shattering event. I thoroughly enjoy reading about sex that is incompetent, embarrassing and frustrating. Without a choir of angels singing in the background and without simultaneous orgasm and where cum tastes just like something that comes out of the human body and not heavenly nectar. Just saying.

14. Realistic Choices ✔
I am going to use my story, Fuck me I'm Irish as an example here. Character A had to make a choice between keeping a high paying job he enjoyed doing or taking a very small chance of getting together with Character B, not knowing if B was even interested in a relationship, not even knowing B that well. In most stories, the Hero would have given up his job for the chance of love, but I don't find that terribly realistic, to be honest. And I like stories in which a character makes a choice that is - for most people - the logical choice, even if it means the OTP won't get together.

15. Medical Emergencies and Hospitals. ✔
Maybe I should mention that I own all 15 seasons of ER. ^^' I love to read about a realistic medial emergency and a realistic ER/A&E experience. I love when a character gets hurt and has to trust others to help/get help.

16. It's not bad to...
When a character has been messed up so much that they think it is wrong to express emotions/sexual pleasure/preferences or even say no.

17. Love Life.
A character has complete understanding of how fucked up this world is, but decides to love life anyway. A genuinely happy, joyful character who honestly shouldn't be happy for all the shit they have been through.

18. Hair. ✔
A lovely head of hair, exceptionally expressive eyebrows, stubble, an epic beard, body hair - or lack thereof. Hair removal. Gingers. Curls. I have a MASSIVE thing for greying hair, especially if the person having it feels self-conscious about it.
I also love it when characters take care of their hair/another character's hair. Brushing it, washing it, etc.

19. No Orgasm ✔
When a character can't achieve an orgasm because they can't let go. They are stuck in their own head and... can't. Extra bonus parts when a Character can't even get an erection, because they are overthinking the situation.

20. Reading glasses.
I just love characters wearing glasses and reading glasses add a lot more possibilities to play. i put my glasses on in the morning and push them up my nose occasionally and then i take them off at night. But reading glasses can be taken off, played with, misplaced, be annoying and a subtle reminder that a character is aging.

101 Things/Kinks in Fiction Meme

I cleaned up my computer the other day and found this meme. I was tagged to do this maybe... 5 years ago and I started to write down all 101 things/kinks in fiction i love, but i stopped at 30 or so. I wanted to post more on Livejournal (and comment more!), so I figured finishing the meme and posting it 10 answers at a time would get me started and prompt me to post and read my friends list more frequently.
I can't believe that I actually have responses to older posts and never even had the courtesy to reply. Shame on me! I am determined to do better!

The kinks/things I love in fiction are in no particular order. :)

1. Food.
I love to read about hungry people getting fed, a character watching another character eat. Preparation of food and the consumption of messy food that isn't necessarily sexy. The best example for that is Dean eating Chilly Fries in the Episode Tall Tales. It isn't sexy at all, but I always found it very "interesting"

2. Men's forearms with visible veins on the underside and strong hands. The nape of a man's neck and shoulders.
Do I really need to explain this one? I think not.

3. First Aid. ✔
I absolutely adore it when authors get first aid right. I adore it even more when you know that the author knows what the correct thing to do is, but when the character doesn't do that, because they are panicking/not thinking clearly/thinking they are doing the right thing. This kink also includes wound bandaging and realistic injuries/treatment of injuries.

4. (Forced) change of relationship dynamics.
Whenever a character steps out of their comfort zone and changes the dynamic of the relationships affected. If the "sub" partner in a relationship starts to become more dominant or even if a quieter, younger sibling has to stand up and defend their older sibling.

5. Good Sentences.
I know, that sounds a bit vague. What I mean is sentences that have rhythm, that are alive and interesting. I love alliterations and use them frequently. I also love when the author knows their stylistic devices and how to use them.

6. Bare feet. Bare legs.
It is so lovely to read about a character puttering around the kitchen barefooted. And long, slender legs, male or female are always good, especially when they are not entirely smooth and/or perfect.

7. Handful sized breasts.
On women. ;) Not much to say about this one. I don't read het or femslash frequently, but when I do, I enjoy the description of breasts that fit into the partner's hands perfectly. Especially when the woman in question is described as particularly skinny and/or having a job or a hobby (or fighting evil) where big breast would simply be in the way.

8. Men holding babies.
Especially when the man is topless and has a hairy chest and arms. I like the image itself, of a strong man holding something so small and vulnerable, but even more I imagine how amazing it must feel for a baby to rub their head against a stubbly chin and feel a man's chest hair against their cheek.

9. Characters unable to have gentle tender sex.
Either because they feel they don't deserve to be loved or because they cannot open up to another person, both emotionally and physically.

10. Character titles.
When someone uses another character's title instead of their name, such as calling a Professor "Professor", or when Thorin calls Bilbo "Burglar". Calling Buffy "Slayer". Things like that.

Yay, part one done. Fun!

Asylum 3 Sunday Coffee Lounges

Okay, I realized that no one had posted a report on the Sunday Coffee Lounges and that some people actually want to read what I have to say.

I have to repeat one more time how lucky I was. When it was my turn to buy raffle tickets for the coffee lounge, the_milky_way bought the last ones for Jared. Apparently I looked desperate enough that the girl selling the tickets checked again and found three more tickets. Yay! So I bought them and two Jensen tickets, because there were 5 £ left on the_milky_way’s voucher.
I forgot that I bought those tickets 2 minutes later, because I didn’t think that I’d win anything… yeah.
Then midnightflower called me: “You just won two coffee lounges. <strike>Bitch!</strike>" (she didn’t say “bitch”, but it was implied. :D) She and metalnurse didn’t talk to me for a long, long time. And I would say that I would rather not have won the coffee lounges just to have my friends still talk to me, but… you know… I don’t want to lie to you. ;)

Jensen’s coffee lounge started late, because they were “stuck in traffic”, which may or may not have been code for “we were out drinking all night”. He told us that he had gone to bed later than he wished he had.

One girl asked if he ever had an encounter with a fan that made him uncomfortable or wary to do cons, because he seemed to always look down and rush when he moved from room to room.
He said he didn’t, but when someone mentioned “the jumper” he said that, yes, that was kind of uncomfortable, but it didn't bother him that much. He had been able to push her off himself. What he does worry about is the fangirls' boyfriends. He thinks that if a fangirl brings her boyfriend along and she keeps telling him how much she loves Jensen and whatnot, he might get a little aggravated and pull out a knife or something. He feels saver with his security guard around for that reason. He doesn't need to have security around 24/7 and he can go to the mall and stuff, but he kind of has his bodyguard around anyway. The bodyguard is also the boy's driver, but he lived an hour away from Jared's house. So they suggested that he just stayed in one of their guest rooms during the week.

He thinks the American fans are more "rowdy" than the British and the Australian ones. He is not sure if that is a good or a bad thing, though. But he definitely said the non-American fans are more polite, because a lot of American fans don't realize that he is a real person. So they go: "Okay, you need to sign this and you need to sign here and then you need to take a picture with me!". He said that he would probably even do it, if they asked nicely.
He also said that British fans are much sneakier than American fans. Like the person who checked him in at the hotel. “You room is here and we have a restaurant here and by the way, I love your show”. He found that surprising. Someone told him that we had all been following him and he just doesn’t notice, because we’re all so sneaky. :D

He talked about Kim and how much it came as a shock to everyone when they found out how sick he actually was. They had noticed him getting paler and thinner and shaking more, but Kim had always told everyone that he was fine. So they were all really shocked. He explained how Kim had always given crew members the opportunity to be with their families instead of coming to work if they needed to and how Kim had made the whole crew kind if a family as well. He said that it wasn't exactly falling apart now, but that it is hard to keep it up with Kim gone.

He was incredibly nice and talkative. He looked good (I don’t know why I even have to mention that… :D)… He held his coffee-cup the entire time, but he seemed to be relaxed.

That’s all I remember right now. Sorry.

Jared's coffee lounge started great for me. When everyone was getting into the room, I picked a place two seats away from him. I had a sticker on my chest (on the skin) and he said, "Hey, that's cute!" and I was like o_O "Thanks.” *looks around to check if anyone else saw that or if I was dreaming*(but the girl across from me gave me a thumb up, so I guess I was awake.)

He talked about dogs. His dogs pwn Icky (that's what he calls <strike>Danneel's</strike> Jensen's dog) and then he tells this hilarious story about Harley running into a glass door and being embarrassed about it. The story itself wasn't hilarious, but the way he told it was! It's one of these: you had to be there- things.

He doesn’t like to fly the dogs anywhere, because his friend who is a pilot told him that animals die in the air all the time. So he has these two cages in the back of his car and drives them down to LA from Vancouver. He stops a lot during those road trips and goes for runs and sleeps in those really, really dodgy motels, with 39,99 $ deals. He feels save there as long as his dogs are around, because they growl every now and then and he thinks no one would rob him with the dogs there.

He talked about crying and that he only once used the stuff they blow into your eyes to make them tear, because he thinks that's bad acting. If you can't give the emotion for real, there is no point. (He said one scene in Spiderman 3 (?) annoyed him, because in one shot Peter looked fine and in the next shot he was crying like a baby.) He had to use the stuff in House of Wax, because he had to cry, but wasn't able to move much. (And how one thing effects the other only he knows... :D). If he has to cry he goes on crying for a couple of minutes and then he is done crying for a couple of days. So he and Jensen try to work around it, when one of them has to cry in a scene and is just READY to do it. Like, in Heart, they actually wanted to film Jensen's scenes first and go to Jared's scenes then. But at some point Jared just sat there making a sobby face and Jensen realized that he was ready to cry, so he asked if they could do Jared's scenes first. And Jared did the same for Jensen, when he had to cry sitting on the car.

He told us that he prefers to do movies, because he doesn't want to give his dogs away to other people all the time. Even though that kind of didn't make sense, because he then said that he was in Australia for House of Wax and then Africa for Flight of the Phoenix and then... somewhere else to do Cry Wolf and so on. And to me it seems like being in the same place for a TV show seems to make much more sense buuuuut, whatever... maybe I misunderstood what he was trying to say.

A girl told him how awesome he was in 4x21 and he told us once again how hard he had worked and that he was glad that it turned good.

He had to leave right after the coffee lounge and thanked us for being there and watching the show and he sounded really sincere.

He drank tea during the coffee lounge, BTW. And he was gesturing and moving around in his seat. And he was absolutely gorgeous! :D

Edt: I forgot to mention this. Jensen did not move out, but he is looking for his own place. He wants to get a "real" dog himself and wants to have him at his own place. Jared is ok with that, because he thinks that they wouldn't see each other more or less if Jensen moved out.

I am going to leave it unlocked for now, so feel free to link to this post, if you think that there is anything worth linking to.

BTW, does anyone know if it is true that one girl bought 200 Jared tickets and didn't win anything?
