Merry Christmas!

Today is Christmas and though tradition in my family is to go to mass in Christmas' Eve, we were so busy yesterday that we couldnt go, so we have to go today. Because of that instead of being in my pjs being lazy with my brother all day, i already showered and got ready for church.

Now, why were we so busy this year? Since my buelita's death, my dads side of the family have been somewhat...distant. My buelo is somewhat of an antisocial, and an old-fashioned man (that means a machista) so i guess thats one of the main reasons why...Anyways, instead of my dads side of the family reunion being in my buelita's house, it was on mine. So we had my dads family over during lunch,.... well really from 3 to 7:30...and from 9 to 1 we were at my moms side of the family party. Now both my parents have a lot of siblings (6 and 8, i believe) and they all have at least 2 children each..so yeah we were a lot.

Though no one of my best Christmases (my favorite being when it snowed... where i live, it doesn't snow... the last time was 4 years ago, and the one before that 30 something years ago) i had fun... having all the family together is fun, and i missed my older brother (who is at college and rarely visits) so it was nice. I got a laptop, a tablet, and some clothes from dear old "Santa", and ate some turkey and mashed potatoes; all and all a good winter break so far.
