Version History This update brings new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes to enhance your experience on the FMB Mobile App, including improved loan and direct debit features, enhanced transaction filtering, refreshed app screens, better onboarding flows, UI/UX improvements, and important fixes for biometrics, OTP verification, transaction displays, and overall app stability for a smoother and more reliable banking experience. 2.3.0 May 25 This release features a redesign on the Log in page, as well as enhancements on onboarding and loan flows. 2.2.0 May 4 This release introduces improved device security and authentication enhancements. The app now detects when a user logs in from a new device and identifies the user type during the login process. For device change verification, main accounts are now validated using a liveness check, while sub-accounts are verified via OTP, ensuring a secure and streamlined experience. 2.1.0 Apr 2 This update introduces VAT display on the loan fees screen in line with new regulatory requirements. We’ve enhanced security during sensitive actions such as PIN and password changes, resets, and device changes. Transaction narration has been improved to prevent special character errors, and merchants can now re-upload bank statements after completing a loan application. File uploads feature improved error handling and retry logic, while sub-account transfers now display the main account name. The account statement feature is available for all accounts, with clear messages when no transactions exist. Settings screen revamp, notification alerts for skipped uploads, and removal of unnecessary log events further streamline your experience. 1.22.0 12/08/2025 We’ve updated the FMB Mobile App to make your experience smoother, faster, and more enjoyable. With this release, it’s now easier to request your account statement, as you’ll immediately see a clear confirmation message. You can also take photos and record videos of your business directly in the app when applying for a loan, making the process simpler and more convenient. Sharing your transaction receipts as PDFs now works perfectly, and your main account will be selected automatically when you need to choose an account—saving you extra steps. We’ve also fixed issues like overlapping pop-ups on some screens and made the app more secure by blocking devices that may put your account at risk. Overall, the app feels cleaner, more responsive, and easier to navigate. This update enhances key flows such as bank selection, transfers, savings, beneficiaries, and account statements, while also improving UI consistency and overall performance. These updates make it easier to navigate, review, and complete your loan applications, manage guarantor details seamlessly, and enjoy an improved interface with optimized flows, faster performance, and better overall usability. 1.19.0 10/13/2025 We’ve made important updates to improve your loan application experience on the FairMoney app. What’s New: Clearer Loan Repayment Schedule: You’ll now see the correct repayment amounts (EMIs) when previewing your loan offer. Easier Guarantor Management: You can now view guarantors linked to your loan application directly in the app. If no guarantor has been added, you’ll have the option to add one easily. Enhanced Guarantor Form: In addition to name, phone, and email, you can now provide your guarantor’s date of birth and gender. Simplified Application Flow: We’ve removed unnecessary steps. You only need to tick a consent checkbox before proceeding, making the process faster and smoother.
