What is Pawthereum?
It is a decentralized and global community looking to help animals who need it most. Our mission is to bring new use cases in the world of cryptocurrencies and DeFi, and we are just getting started. There was no IDO or private sales which is the best and only way tokens should be released so everyone has the same access.
Pawthereum is a fork of Grumpy.finance. $GRUMPY was created in early February 2021, but the project suffered legal issues over the use of the trademarked “Grumpy“ name. However, in March 2021, a community effort was made to revitalize Grumpy with volunteers working tirelessly to rebuild the project and continue with our original vision. To avoid ongoing legal issues, $PAWTH was created, and it has dedicated leadership, a strong and committed community, and a clear vision built around helping animals.
What are the Tokenomics?
The total supply 1 Billion, and a part of that is locked in the liquidity pool on UniSwap. There is a 2% transaction fee distributed as follows:
1% goes to a multi-signature charity wallet to send donations to animal shelters and animal charity programs
the other 1% goes to a multi-signature dev wallet to fund development and marketing.

$PAWTH can be bought in an exchange of your choosing (e.g., Uniswap, 1inch, PawSwap).
Do you have a marketing department?
Yes! Our marketing team is composed of seasoned professionals from different fields and all walks of life, from design to journalism and beyond! All works are carried out on a voluntary basis for a good cause. We are also in talks with exchanges, shelters, and charity-minded influencers to bring visibility to the project. How does $PAWTH give back?
$PAWTH consists of three main pillars:
1. Community
“All for one and one for all”. Our community will always decide on the charities to which $PAWTH donates, and they will help contribute to our roadmap and determine $PAWTH’s future.
2. Transparency
We use multi-signature Ethereum wallets for peace of mind. As we are a community focused project, we will be listening to community feedback. This is and always will be a community-based decentralized project and everyone is welcome to add to our cause. Just contact one of the Admins with your skills and talents and we will be happy to welcome you and your ideas as one of our own.
3. Upgradability/Scope
We aim to expand our ecosystem and develop additional use cases for $PAWTH. In particular, we intend to harness the power of blockchain to benefit animal shelters. Some examples of this would be NFTs backed by $PAWTH where a % of every sale goes directly to animal shelters. Or perhaps an online marketplace where each sale has a buyback feature for the $PAWTH token. There could also be an online game with automated charity mechanisms built in via smart contracts. In the future, we also intend to make our charity redistributions fully trustless and automated. There are endless possibilities, and our holders will always help decide our PAWTH for development.
What is the Dev Multisig contract wallet for?
This is for Transfer costs, marketing, and future liquidity for exchange listings. Exchanges need some of the tokens for liquidity, and if it’s a larger exchange, they may need a lot. This wallet will not be used for team compensation.
A multisig wallet requires multiple team members to confirm every transaction in order to execute it, which helps prevent unauthorized access to company crypto. It’s an important security feature. Multisig is also used to confirm transactions from Charity wallet.
