I interviewed 50 Dads at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour
SWIFTIE DADS
Back in 2023, I became obsessed with videos of dads waiting in parking lots during the Eras Tour. I loved watching them in their cargo shorts, checking their phones as they waited for their kids who were having the time of their lives. As a fan AND a dad, I couldn’t stop thinking about them. What are they doing out there? What are they talking about?
So when Taylor came to SoFi Stadium out in LA, I grabbed my friends at Supper Club (the team behind Chef’s Table), headed down with a camera, a microphone, and a ton of releases, and started talking to them.
I thought it’d be funny, talking to guys just killing time, maybe complaining. It turned out to be something else entirely.
These dads weren’t just waiting - they were part of something. The conversations we captured, the reasons they gave for being there, what their kids meant to them... it became this beautiful thing I never expected.
It’s only 15 minutes, and I think you’re going to love what these dads had to say. This is for every parent who’s ever waited and every kid who made it worth it.
It just might be the perfect thing to watch with your kids ( or your parents) this week. So feel free to spread to anyone who might like it.

This is wonderful work, Paul. I’m not a Dad or a Swiftie, but it still brought me to tears. Very heartfelt and sweet, as well as hilarious at times. The little kid who doubted the authenticity of your microphone stole the show! 😄
This is wonderful. Thank you.
