[Mod Post] Fic Request Posts
Hello ladies and gents. This is your friendly neighborhood mod speaking. Due to the recent influx of fic search requests, we have decided to in the future reject them with the following terms:
1) We will tell you to turn to a relevant community, like
fobficfinder.
2) If you have already tried this community and have come back empty (but please wait at least four days as sometimes it can take a few days before someone finds your fic) then you may post it here.
3) If you are looking for a general range of fics and not just a specific fic, we ask that you still try fobficfinder first. Sometimes they can find more obscure fics that don't show up at this community, anyway.
We are hoping this will limit the amount of unsubstantial posts so that the upcoming posts that are let through will be fic, art, discussion, etc. Don't worry if you forget this new rule. We will always add a rejection notice with your post!
