You are tired. You are struggling for a normal life. But somehow, after 'the accident', everything just came to a stop. Instead of moving forward, you feel like everything you've known, loved, worked hard for is being sucked in through this hole of absolute darkness. Just pulling you back, relentless and unmerciful.

And every time you look into his eyes, your memories flash back to that horrendous moment in time. Like a scene from a movie being rewinded over and over. With a sudden crash and bang, you were jolted into this hell you are now living in.

You were fortunate. He wasn't as lucky.

Yet it's that hopeful gleam in his eyes that keeps you going. It's that same gaze he gives you every morning you wake up. The same one when he feels the frustration that prickles on your skin when he's done something wrong. That same exact look when he hears your sigh of helplessness, all your lost hope and dashed dreams breathed into one single breath. He knows you all too well yet he doesn't say a word. And it's his silence that pulls at your heart.

If only he knows that you never once put the blame on him. If only he realizes that no matter how many times Life crashes its burden upon your shoulders, you will, without question, take his load and carry it all for the both of you. If only he understands that despite the countless of times your heart has been broken/ripped/torn/mutilated your love for him will remain, strong and undying. If only he can see your eyes, like you look into his. If only he can see you at all.

Through the dark, he searches for your hand, and you know, for as long as God keeps you on this Earth, you will find his and hold it with a strong grip. Together, you will search for that light to live through another tomorrow.
