Title: From the Heart

Rating: R ((doubt it'll get any higher))
Chapter: 4/?
Summary: Pete, a scrawny ((but still cute)) skater moved to LA two years ago. After several problems, he moved back only to find out all of his friends got rezoned. Now he's a junior in high school with only three friends and a habit of getting in trouble with bullies. Then he discovers Patrick. An adorable little freshman who can't stand up for himself. ((Sorry, summaries and I don't get along. And don't worry, there's more to it than what you're reading in this summary. But not yet.))
Author’s Notes: Again, this one is rather short. I'm sorry but I have a good exscuse. Varsity football players are out to get me. No joke. I won't go into detail, but I'll tell you later if someone wants to know. Anyways, to the story.
I didn't know what to do. I never imagined myself in a situation like this. Here I am holding Patrick in my arms and telling him everything is going to be alright. Yeah, everything's going to be fine. He just killed someone. I walked him over to one of the picnic tables and pulled out my cell phone.
"Wha-what are you doing?" he said, sort of shocked.
"I'm calling Taelor. She'll know what to do." I said. "Her grandparents were in the mafia. They hid bodies all the time." I said with a chuckle. Patrick didn't smile or say anything. Great. I dailed Taelor's number.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Taelor. I need your help with something."
"Well, I'm kinda busy right now. Does it have to do with you and Patrick?"
"Uh, sort of." I wanted to ask how she knew, but she was a girl. They had women's intuition.
"Alright where are you?"
"School."
"I'll be there in a minute." she said. I hung up and sat down next to Patrick. He was shivering. I tried to touch his arm, but he pulled away.
"Patrick." I said. "It was self defense."
"I was protecting you." he said, looking at me with sad eyes. I put my hand under his chin and tilted his face upward. I smiled at him before leaning over and kissing him. This time it was different, though. It was more meaningful. Like we were in love. Patrick bit my lip softly and licked it. I let out a little moan which caused him to giggle. We broke apart.
"This isn't the best time to be doing this." I said. "Not that I don't want to, its just..."
"Yeah, I know." he said. I heard footsteps and turned around to see Taelor and Joe. My eyes went wide and so did Joe's.
"Taelor. Why's Joe here?" I asked cautiously.
"I brought--" she stopped when she saw Nash. She just stared at him. Joe, on the other hand was looking from me to Patrick and back again. "What.....?" she began, but stopped when I pointed at the gun on the table.
"So you're gay?" Joe asked. I looked at him.
"Is this really the time to be asking those kinds of questions?" I said, pointing to Nash's body. Joe jumped back.
"Holy shit, Pete. What did you do?"
"Help me. We don't know what to do." I said to Taelor. She nodded.
"I know what to do. Don't worry."

We ended up throwing him in the back of Joe's car and taking him to the junkyard. Taelor knew some people there who would take care of him. The guy, Vinnie said they were going to throw him in the trash compactor. He said that would tear him up pretty bad, which made me want to puke my guts out.
After we cleaned up a little in Joe's car, we all got in and drove to the secluded area of the city park. Joe shut off the car.
"What happened?" Taelor asked. I looked at Patrick. He's been awfully quiet. I reached over to him and brushed his hair back. He looked back at me and smiled a little. "Hello. Petey. Come on, man."
"I shot him." I said. I didn't take my eyes off of Patrick. His eyes nearly popped out of his head. He started to say something, but I shook my head. "He was attacking us, so I shot him."
"Dude." Joe said. I glanced at Taelor. She nodded. Yeah, she always knew.
"Can you drive us to my house?" Patrick said.
"Yeah sure." Joe said, starting the car again. "Where do you live?"
"Do you know where Mikah Sledge lives?"
"Uh-huh."
"Nextdoor to him." Patrick said. Joe drove back towards the school and to Patrick's house. The ride was silent. He pulled into the driveway. "Thanks, Joe."
"No problem, kid." Joe said. Patrick got out of the car.
"Bye Taelor." Patrick said.
"Bye, sweetie." she said. I waved at Joe and Taelor before getting out of the car. I closed the door and walked up to Patrick's front door. He pulled his key out and fumbled with them for a second. I touched his hands.
"Its okay." I said. He took a deep breath and unlocked the door. I followed him inside and up to his room. It was a nice room, too. Covered in posters for underground bands and movies. He collapsed on his bed.
"Do you want to lay here next to me?" he asked. I smiled and nodded as I took my back pack off. I climbed on the bed next to him and pulled him into my arms. "My mom lives in Nashville, and my dad is out of town on bussiness." he said. That made me feel safer. Just me and Patrick. I pulled him closer and kissed the top of his head. "Why'd you do that? You know, say you shot Nash."
"Because I did." And that was it. The end of that conversation. I closed my eyes for a moment before I felt a pair of lips on mine. I opened my mouth to allow his tounge in. I rolled on my back and pulled him on top of me. He started kissing my neck. Then he started licking and sucking on it. "Mmmm, Patrick. That feels good." He stopped and sat up.
"I'm romanticaly challenged" he said, looking down at me. I laughed and pulled him back down for a quick kiss.
"No you're not. You're wonderful."
"Then why am I not ready for this." he said, standing up.
"If you're not, we'll wait. C'mon. Let's take a nap." I said crawling up more onto the bed and patting the space next to me. He crawled up to me and layed in my arms. We fell asleep holing eachother, him breathing on my neck and me quietly singing Rod Stewart to him.

Okay, I think this chapter sucks. But it does sort of add to the story. Most of my stories fluxuate. Like one will be crap and then the next will be great and then crap etc. So please don't be mad at me if its bad. I promise more drama in the next chapters.
