Hi! I’m Tim Krief. I'm a French Engineer and Artist. I’m working on a lot of great stuff: games, tools, open source software and more! I made multiple small indiegames and I released my first professional game Fallacy Quiz, last year. I'm currently working on a new game. Some of my other ambitious games like CraftyCounty and Octahedrone are on hold for the time being. I'm working on open source projects in my spare time, but this depends on my financial stability, the more I can get support here, the more I can dedicate time to work on open source and open source some of my own stuff. Patreon is a platform where you can pledge to send regular payment to some creators directly, so they can support themselves and focus on making great stuff, not profitable stuff. Depending on the patreon tier you choose, you can get different perks. On my page, Bronze, Silver and Gold are the main tiers, the other ones only being there if you feel really generous. I was offered to work in big tech companies but it was obvious that I would not be able to work there for ethical reasons even if the offers were really attracting and almost got me. But I said no. Since then I'm working hard to try and become a proper independent dev/artist. I know this will be sustainable one day without having to spend time on contract works and side jobs, and without having to count every penny, and that I will be able to apply my skills for useful purposes, on my own, more ambitious projects.
