Hey there, I'm Max. 
 
The foundation of the modern world is developer tools. 
 
I build developer tools; I want to make the things 
you need to make the world a better place. This is my talent, it's the career I was destined for. A few years ago I created Homebrew, the package manager for Mac, used by millions due to its sensible design and careful developer-experience. I apply the same process to all the open source I make. 
 
Great tools are easy to learn, easy to master and are powerful when mastered. Good tools know their boundaries, and instead provide delightful interfaces that facilitate interaction with the other tools that you already know and love. 
 
I actively maintain over 30 open source projects, including the top-100 pod, 
<a href="https://github.com/mxcl/PromiseKit">PromiseKit</a>, <a href="https://github.com/mxcl/swift-sh">swift-sh</a> the tool that makes scripting with Swift third party dependencies trivial, <a href="https://github.com/mxcl/Path.swift">Path.swift</a> an elegant, delightful pathing utility, <a href="https://github.com/mxcl/Workbench/">Workbench</a> “Seamless, automatic, ‘dotfile’ sync to iCloud,” and <a href="https://github.com/mxcl/Cake">Cake</a> the delicious app-development supplement.
