Who am I? 
Hello! My name is Ciaran Fisher aka "
Ciribob".&nbsp;I've been building tools for DCS since 2014 and more recently getting involved with IL2 as well. 
 
My most popular tool is&nbsp;
<a href="https://github.com/ciribob/DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone">SimpleRadio Standalone or SRS</a>. The goal of the SRS project was to bring VoIP communication into DCS and to make communication as frictionless as possible. This was a bit of an insane goal, as I set myself the extra hard task of building a complete VoIP solution from scratch (no teamspeak or SDKs), integrating into a game, and convincing people to use it. However, amazingly it worked! 
 
Currently DCS-SRS has over 20,000 unique monthly users and is firmly embedded in the community and hopefully will be for a long time to come.
 
 
SRS has also&nbsp;<a href="https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/63326-installation-and-usage-of-srs-for-il-2-voice-comms-app/">recently launched for IL2</a> in a collaboration with the IL2 developers. The version for IL2 is a fork of the DCS version and customised specially for IL2. 
 
SRS has been in constant development since 2016 and will continue to be updated and improved with your support for years to come.

What do you get for supporting me? 
SRS, the tools I produce and the time supporting members of the community with scripting and other help takes up an enormous amount free of time. The tools and scripts I produce are also free and open source, allowing others to learn and improve off my work. I do this in my free time alongside a long suffering fiance (soon wife!) and a full time job. By supporting me you help to prove to my fiance it's not such a huge waste of time, but more importantly show that you value the work that I do. 
 
Patreon Levels? 
Patreon has the concept of supporter levels but I've set a $3 dollar amount as the minimum. You can pledge as much over that as you like and as a reward, have my eternal gratitude as well as the knowledge you're helping to support my time. You also get a special channel to message me on, a special role on the SRS Discord and probably a slightly more sympathetic ear to feature requests and support :)

I started building tools for flight sims as I love the genre, it's a great hobby and generally an incredibly helpful and supportive community. Thank you for being part of it and helping it to grow! Tell all your friends, flight sims are fun! Who doesn't like to fly?!
