For about the last 7 years, I've mostly been covering protests, police, &amp; the policing of protests. I've also covered state violence against oppressed people and the fight against fascism. Most of my reporting covers NYC, but I've also covered protests in <a href="https://twitter.com/AshAgony/status/822475619455946753">Washington DC</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/AshAgony/status/1063815959075536897">Philly</a>, &amp; <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6vsqYHYZ_Q">Santiago, Chile</a>. It's been amazing and really fulfilling to see firsthand and to document these incredible moments in history. The only problem is that, because of some things that have happened in my personal/family life over the last few months, it's become imperative for me to find ways to better survive capitalism. I got a ticket for hopping a turnstile late last year, and it really made me realize how precarious my financial situation is. I had to crowdfund just to pay it off and luckily, a bunch of good comrades threw me some money for it. But sadly, things have only gotten worse for me this year. Now, after years of avoiding it, I finally decided it was time to make a Patreon. So if you like what I do and wanna help keep me fed, housed, healthy, and able to travel to protests (or if you just wanna piss off cops, fascists, and/or politicians), please become a patron and throw me a few bucks.
