Hi, I'm Butterfree/Dragonfree/antialiasis, and I do... whatever I feel like, for the most part. Since 2002, I have run a website called <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com" target="_blank">The Cave of Dragonflies</a>, where I create content about the Pokémon franchise, including <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/movie-reviews/lucario-and-the-mystery-of-mew">movie reviews</a> (currently revamping the existing reviews to be nicer, then need to catch up from there), <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/mechanics/gen-i-capturing" target="_blank">extremely nerdy math-filled articles about game mechanics</a>, <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/calculators/gen-i-catch-rate" target="_blank">accompanying calculators that do the math for you</a>, a <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/zodiac" target="_blank">zodiac</a>, <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/quizzes/what-pokemon-are-you" target="_blank">personality tests</a>, <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/opinions-theories/history-of-training" target="_blank">speculative articles</a>, <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/magikarp-the-gathering" target="_blank">quirky games</a>, the <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/favorite.html" target="_blank">Favorite Pokémon Picker</a>, <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/marquee-of-doom" target="_blank">random nonsense</a>, <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/spriting-guide" target="_blank">lengthy tutorials</a>, <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/fanfiction" target="_blank">fanfiction</a>, and <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/april-fools" target="_blank">a sequence of increasingly elaborate ridiculous April Fools' Day jokes</a> including <a href="https://www.dragonflycave.com/sutoraiku-high/index.html" target="_blank">a Scyther dating sim</a> that I am actually still working on. Meanwhile, I have <a href="http://antialiasis.tumblr.com" target="_blank">a blog</a> where I often post <a href="http://antialiasis.tumblr.com/tagged/review" target="_blank">reviews of things</a> and other ramblings, often about fiction. Stories, what makes them work or not, <a href="http://antialiasis.tumblr.com/tagged/adaptations" target="_blank">how adaptations go about adapting a work to a different medium</a>, and the psychology of fictional characters are all things I'm passionate about and think about a lot. Lastly, since January 2016, I have strived to <a href="http://antialiart.tumblr.com" target="_blank">draw something every day</a>. I'm still not a great artist, but I'm pretty passionate about wanting to improve. I plan to keep the stuff that I make free and available to everyone, but if you enjoy the stuff that I do and would like to throw some money my way for it, you can pledge to my Patreon. In return for your pledges, you can have some influence on what I do! For $5 a month, you can make an art request every month for a basic sketch (one daily drawing). This should come in the form of a basic description of what I should draw, maybe a sentence or two, with a maximum of two characters involved, and I make absolutely no guarantees about the result being any good, but an attempt will be made. I will have to agree to the request and won't do anything that I'd be personally uncomfortable with (this would include anything NSFW). (I may have to adjust the pricing/frequency of this if I get a lot of pledges.) For $15 a month, you get to make a more extensive art request every ~3 months (in place of the once-a-month sketch request for that month), and I will make an at-least-semi-effortful drawing out of it over multiple days, with coloring/shading and potentially even a simple background (but no guarantees on that being any good). You can ask for something complex here, but I'll tell you if it's too much. (Again, I may have to adjust the pricing/frequency of this tier if I get a lot of pledges.) For $30 a month, you can make a request for something for me to do for TCoD. I can't promise to do whatever you ask me to - we'll have to come to an agreement - but odds are if you pledge to have me do something that I already vaguely want to do for TCoD, that'll be just the motivation I need to prioritize that, and if you can persuade me the thing you want is cool/fun, I can probably do it. (I do reserve the right to come back to you and ask for a different request if doing what you asked just isn't working out, though.) The frequency of requests you can make will depend on how much work the thing is; it'd be max once a month, but no more if I'm still working on the last thing you asked. If you wanted, you could also pledge to this tier to ask me to watch and review a movie or short TV series instead. (Yet again, I may have to adjust this depending on the number of pledges I get.) For $35 or $45 a month, you can get both a TCoD content/review request and a sketch/more extensive request.
