What is the Beat Saber Modding Group? 
The Beat Saber Modding Group (BSMG) is a collective that originally started for modding the game Beat Saber. We have branched out and grown into one of the largest Discord servers in the world. Our Discord now serves as a hub for all things Beat Saber. 
 
Why Patreon? 
While BSMG operates on <a href="http://discord.gg/beatsabermods">Discord</a>, we also host several websites and need to pay their server costs.

The main repository for Beat Saber Mods. This is the site that <a href="https://github.com/Assistant/ModAssistant">Mod Assistant</a> downloads mods from. 
 
<a href="https://modelsaber.com">ModelSaber</a> The main repository for 3D models made for Beat Saber. Includes custom sabers, avatars, platforms, and bloqs. 
 <a href="https://bsmg.wiki">bsmg.wiki</a> 
The wiki aims to be the most up to date source for information on Beat Saber. Includes guides on many popular topics, such as modding instructions, mapping instructions, mod development, health and safety, and much more. 
 
Where does the money go? 
All money goes to covering server costs first, and any surplus is pooled together to be used for community events, contests, larger modding projects, and tournaments.  
 
How much are the server costs? 
Currently the total is about $200 a month.

Funds from this tier will be used to cover the costs of maintaining the servers as before, and any excess funds will be used towards BSMG community projects. This includes prizes for events and contests, tournaments, and larger modding projects that require staffing and funding.
