About

The New York State Society of Pathologists is a non-profit professional association dedicated to expressing the ideals of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, to promoting and advancing the practice of the specialty of Pathology and fostering the scientific, economic, social and ethical aspects of Pathology.

The NYSSP seeks to cultivate the science of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and to improve and promote by study, research and publication, the knowledge of Pathology and the application of such knowledge to the study of etiology, diagnostic procedures and morphologic manifestations of disease.

Additionally, the Society works to establish and maintain the highest standards of training and proficiency in the practice of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in the State of New York.
