TOUCH SEQUENCER GUIDE

The sequencer is divided into eight identical tracks.

The only controls for all tracks are:
On the left
– The Play button
– The Reset “RST” button
– The BPM fader

On the right
– The button to select internal/external clock
– The Play button with its corresponding clock LED (which automatically activates when clock/start/stop messages are received)
– A menu to enable TouchOSC MIDI connections

For a better understanding, we can divide the sequencer into several sections:

SECTION 1

In this section, you can select between the master keyboard and the sequencer.

For each track, there is a Mute “M” button to silence the various tracks.

By pressing the “Rx ♪” button, the sequencer receives MIDI notes from an external device on the selected track, and the corresponding LED on the right will flash red.
In this way, pressing a note from the external device will also change the note value or CC# parameter of the currently selected and active step (note: a step is activated only when the Step button is lit; otherwise, the value will not change).

SECTION 2

In this section, from top to bottom, we find:

– Time signatures from 1/4 to 1/32T
– Tempo LED
– Play button
– Reset “RST” button
– BPM fader

SECTION 3

In this section, we find:

– A selectable bar to determine the length of the pattern from 4 steps to 32 steps
– Controls on each step:

Yellow button to activate the step
Gray button to activate the slide
Green button to activate the probability
Step button to activate the Note/CC# keys in the pattern
Note/CC# keys to send NOTE_ON/OFF or CC# parameter
Fader to select the note or velocity or parameter CC# or the CC# value to send (according to the buttons described in section 4)

SECTION 4

In this section, we find:

– Selecting the MIDI output channel
– Note OFF button on the selected channel
– Slide Off button to disable all slides activated on the steps
– Forward, Reverse, and Random buttons for the sequence
– Step Page button to switch between the 4-16 step view and the 20-32 step view (this switches automatically when you press Play)
– Velocity/Value button (Pressing this button allows you to change the velocity or CC# value for each step, moving the respective fader from 0 to 127)
– Note/CC# button (Pressing this button allows you to change the note from C-2 to C7, or the CC# parameter from 0 to 126, for each step, moving the respective fader)
– Fixed Values button
(Pressing this button accesses a menu to select fixed values for note, velocity, CC# parameter, and CC# value)
– Buttons Nudge
(Pressing these buttons shifts the entire sequence one step at a time)
– Interval Button
(Pressing this opens a menu to transpose the sequence in intervals of II, III, IV, V, VI, VII)
– Clear Pattern Button “Clr Ptn”
(Pressing this opens a button to clear the entire sequence and restore the pattern to its default position)
Transpose and Octave buttons
(To transpose the sequence by a semitone or octave)

Have fun!
