Are you tired of only having 1-5 pan-modded delay lines? Well welcome to 6…. 6 pan-modded delay lines.
LP filter in front to prevent too much high-freq build-up, then 6 delays of descending rate (longest at the top, shortest at the bottom) being panned around the stereo field by their own lfos.
I went through and adjusted the relative rates of the delays so it creates a bit of a wash. I also inversely correlated the feedback amounts to the delay rates so the tails fall away at a similar time and you don’t have any single stragglers repeating endlessly.
Turn off individual delay lines for a more sparse ‘swarm’.
Just like most of my other patches, it’s a delay that’s kind of also sort of a reverb.
