I Take It Back! I Take It All Back!

Okay, I've been saying for awhile now that NY is either even with or about to pass the original CSI, and then they have to go and have an episode like that? It wasn't bad. It just wasn't really very good, either. I liked the return of scuba diving Danny. There was an AMAZING edit in the middle - the syringe needle fading to the Empire State Building. I was talking to primroseburrows and just interrupted everything with a massive OMG. Because I know you all want to see it, here, to about 7 minutes in, it's around 7:10 or 7:15. AMAZING. Other than that, though, the episode was just meh. Better luck next week, and all that.

So I watched last week, and was relieved Sara was alive, but then I saw that she was leaving, and I'll be honest, part of me didn't even want to watch tonight, and then I do, and we get this, this gorgeous amazing episode that had just about everything you could possibly want in an episode of CSI. Nick/Greg interaction? Check. Greg being wonderfully Greg? Check. The Cath/Warrick tension that's just so fun to watch? Check. Brass being Brass? Check. Sara being Sara and adorable and wonderful, tough and loving at the same time? Check. Nick being wonderfully Nick? Check. Hodges being weird? Doc Robbins and David being, well, themselves? Check Check. The cases being weird and interesting and engaging without being over the top? Check. Just, oh. OHHH. I so sorry I doubted you, CSI. I even liked Ecklie tonight. <3 <3 <3
