Meet the new boss same as the old boss
We came home this afternoon, around 3:30 or so. We unloaded and put most things away. Yesterday, my computer decided to fry and isn't that just the way it goes? I have tons of stuff on that computer specificially that I need to do; I kept telling myself I'd take care of it once I got home, either tonight or tomorrow. Now I'm not sure how I'm going to do that. The good news is that's not the hard drive. That's something at least. I think.
I have several resolutions for the new year but unfortunately one of them was not 'break no more electronics' and anyway I can't really do anything about that, since I'm not the reason they tear up. Our camcorder died three weeks ago and then today my parents' camcorder died. This is noteworthy because we bought them at the same time a bit over three years ago. They are slightly different models, but both Canons and similar enough to have the same instruction manual. I find it highly suspicious that they both had the same problem so close to the time when an extended warranty would end.
One of the resolutions I do have is to lose weight. I'm not looking forward to it, but I know I have to do it, starting tomorrow. Which means that tonight, I'll eat chocolate ice cream.
