What Shall I Do Today?
I can't go to the bank today (which I need to do, times three). I can't convince Gillian to do some school ahead of time, which is too bad, because we have four days of work for everything but Latin, math, and recitation, so if we did, say, grammar and spelling today, then we'd be done with grammar and spelling for the week on Wednesday. I also can't go to the library today to pick up the books that are on hold. I feel stymied.
I can plan the week's school on our lesson plan sheet, I suppose, and I ought to work on this week's assignment for the HGP, which is the master bedroom/master bathroom. The really exciting thing is that I don't have to do the actual cleaning, just the decluttering and sorting. Thursday is cleaning service day. I cannot wait, I tell you. Absolutely, positively cannot wait.
My Blue Canoe co-op order should be here tomorrow or Tuesday, minus the three things that were discontinued in the two weeks between when I ordered them and when the wholesaler processed the order. All the Blue Canoe shirts that are left (that I don't already own) all have very defined bust areas, which are exactly the kind of shirt I cannot wear. I really hope that the one top I ordered will even fit me, as it has an inside bra. It's not overly defined on the outside, though, so I live in hope. I'm going to be getting shorts, a skirt, and another pair of pants, too. I am slowly making my way towards my 101 in 1001 goal of having seven organic tops, but it was dealt a blow with the discontinued shirts, so I only will have four when my order comes. I bought one from Under the Canopy at Harry's/Whole Foods the other day, because it was 30% off. It is a very light cream and has a turtle design on it and says "Change the world." I like the sentiment.
On the plus side, with my refund from the Blue Canoe co-op, I ordered some books from Amazon. I was totally irresponsible and only ordered books for myself. That's not entirely true - I bought Gillian a $5 Building The Pyramids sticker book. The other four books are just for me and totally superfluous. It's so incredibly nice to be able to get something totally superfluous.
Maybe I will just take a shower and then settle in for some Buffy. If I started soon after my parents leave (in about 15 minutes), I could watch six episodes or something like that. Yay Buffy.
