Pastebot Sync Überblick
Pastebot Sync is a Preference pane companion to the Pastebot iPhone app. It runs in the background and magically sends text and images to your iPhone while Pastebot is running. Just copy something on your Mac and see it instantly appear on your iPhone. Getting content on your phone has never been easier or more fun.
But it doesn't stop there. Pastebot Sync also allows you to paste items back to your Mac…from your phone! Have an image in your iPhone photo library that you want to send to your Mac? Just import it into Pastebot and then paste it to your Mac wirelessly over wifi.

The server does not automatically run since half a year or thereabouts. The suggestion below doesn't work.
There are more shortcomings (no desktop-to-desktop file sharing; frequent problems when pairing the iOS device with a new Mac, or goiing back to the machine it had first synced to… and so forth).
On the positive side, the interface is lovely. And it works, provided the server is manually launched following each and every restart of the machine.
When enabled as a login item, the whole system preferences window pops up every time the computer is restarted.

Great app. It will launch automatically if you fix the quarantine flag:
sudo xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Library/PreferencePanes/PastebotSync.prefPane/Contents/Resources/PastebotSync.app

Very simple, yet powerful, effective and reliable product. Just works. Recommended if you have an iPhone and use it a lot.
