My intent of paid subscriptions is NOT to make money to pay my bills, but rather to gauge if there is a wider audience for my writing. I recently found out that Substack has the ability to create lifelong discounts, and so I will be starting every post with the discount link that entitles readers to a 95% discount on a paid subscription.
