2° Tutorial
Go from this:
Note: This is a "rounded corners" tutorial not a coloring/texture tutorial (maybe I'll do that later!).
1. Open your image. Add whatever you want (brushes, textures, color, etc.)
2. Choose the "Rounded Rectangle Tool" from the task bar.
3. Pay attention to the options menu, you can now change the radius of the corners. Remember that when bigger the number the more rounded.
4. Check that you have selected the "shape layer" option and not the "paths" or "fill pixels" ones.
5. Draw your rectangle above the image and for a better view, drag the fill slide to 0% in the layer palette.
6. Change to the paths palette, right click and choose "make selection".
7. Leave the settigs the same. Now your rectangle is a selection. Just choose "select inverse" and delete everything else. You can also use the stroke option to add a line all around your image.
DONE! Easy or not?
