Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?

In canon, Ritsuka is roughly about 4'9 and weighs like 67 lbs. Having been in gargleblasted for almost a year, I would think it's pretty safe to assume that he's grown. So I decided that right now he's currently 4'11 and will probably ready 5' even on his 13th birthday. Since Yun Kouga pretty much released that he's going to be 6'3 when he's 17, I want to plan out his growth to be consistent and ...for it to actually make sense. But he's still pretty short -- it's something that bothers him. He wants to grow tall! Like Seimei! As for his weight, he's like 70 lbs now. Maybe a little more. ...That is, still really frigging skinny. So his build is...boney. Thin wrists, thin fingers, etc.

2. How old is he?

Ritsuka is 12. His birthday is December 21st, 1990. So if we were to go by what his age is TODAY in real life, he'd be older than me. But he is 12 for now. He'll be 13 very soon! I explained my mess up with his age in the other character template I did I'm not explaining it again 8|!

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?

Ritsuka...actually carries himself very well. He usually stands up straight when he's walking or just standing around, with his shoulders square. Of course he has his moments where he slouches and leans over, like everyone does, but in general he keeps himself upright. No spinal problems, here!

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?

Yuiko comments in canon how Ritsuka is both good at book stuff and good at running, which means that he's fairly physically fit. Even Yayoi expresses jealousy at how healthy Ritsuka is (though that might have just been because he's a sick little dude) and Ritsuka doesn't tire easily from running or doing anything physically. He doesn't have any illnesses, but he does have amnesia. No one knows how he got it! That is, Yun Kouga hasn't told us. And as it is with amnesia, he could remember how to do normal tasks, but his memories were gone. He doesn't have any physical disabilities, though. He's built to function.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?

It...depends. He's not a clumsy person, but he's not graceful like a swan. I'd say he's relaxed or more fluid than most, when he's calm or just normal. But when he gets into his mood swings, or when he's upset/bothered he'll get very tense and hunch up his shoulders and flex his hands and all of that nonsense. His body language, while subtle sometimes, is very indicant of how he's feeling or his mood. Usually people will get the gist of how he feels just by their own subconscious picking up on his body language, but he ends up confusing most people because his reactions aren't always to the "normal" things. However, he doesn't walk or act like he's awkward in his body. That might change when he reaches those lanky teenage years, but for now he's pretty snug in there.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?

It depends on what you'd consider attractive! But in canon he's generally seen as being a good-looking kid. A lot of older people say he's cute, and even his shrink says she'd be into him if he were like ten years older (or something like that). I'd say that he's easy on the eyes -- and he definitely takes after his mother in the looks area. Misaki is actually very pretty when she's not being insane! In the mirror, he doesn't perceive himself to be anything special. He doesn't think he's handsome or hideous -- he's just himself. But he's totally not cute, just so you know (sarcasm). He doesn't really like being called cute, because it embarrasses him more than anything. But he does want to get taller!!!

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?

His skin is very light, he's one of those asians who could pass as being white if he wasn't... asian, skin-wise. His skin is also very clear, he doesn't get acne or red rashes because he has generally good genes. But he does have scars in various places, I think, from the various beatings that he got from his mother. I mean, it's hard to get stabbed with a fork and not end up with some sort of scar there. Or a blemish. Something! I also think he covers up whatever bumps and bruises he has from those times now because it's not something he wants people prying into or knowing. And like I said on the character template I did before, it's my own personal headcanon (and how it goes in game for me) that he has a light scar on his face from old abuse. He usually covers it with a bandaid, so he's usually seen with the little patch on his cheek.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.

His hair is very, very black. It's also that kind of black that reflects colors in it when light is shined on it. In canon Youji and Natsuo actually discuss Ritsuka's hair (when they find him passed out in bed with them)! They comment that his hair is actually really really soft, which they think is weird, because black hair seems like it would be coarse. And he's got kind of a shaggy style going on, with some pieces of hair longer than others, with bangs.
