Jin-Ho was originally from a civilian family in the Wind Country-however, at some point he must has had shinobi ancestors, because he was born with the horns of a famous blood-line limit. Sadly for him, these are an incomplete throw-back that do absolutely nothing but make him appear unusual and grow back when cut off.

Despite his civilian background, he began training himself physically at a young age, for no reason but he wanted to. Due to his strange personality and appearance, he was largely shunned by society, including his own parents. Only a boy named Sun Woo-Hyuk befriended him, and it didn't take long for Jin-Ho to dedicate his life and strength to protecting him.

Due to his hard work, Jin-Ho was noticed at the age of ten, and when he refused to join the Sand Village, Woo-Hyuk was kidnapped and held hostage. For three years, he was essentially the Sand's slave and committed a large number of atrocities; he attempted to break Woo-Hyuk out, but the other boy realised that Jin-Ho could not escape whilst protecting him, and purposefully died so that Jin-Ho could live a free life.

Instead, Jin-Ho became obsessed with revenge. His goal was to become the strongest shinobi there was, and kill all others, starting with the Sand, until everyone was free to make their own destinies, without the over bearing power of the shinobi influencing everything. To that end, he destroyed an entire country at the age of 15, earning him the notice of Akatsuki. When question why he did it, he simply said 'practice.'

After capturing Gaara, he sent Tsbuaki on ahead, and remained to cover her escape. During the fight, he was told the last words of Woo-Hyuk, and decided that whilst he could not overcome his desire for revenge, his desire for freedom from the shinobi world was stronger, and allowed himself to die in combat, claiming it was the only real choice he had made since Woo-Hyuk's death.

He possesses no special abilities of his own-he has merely taken the abilities that all shinobi are capable of using and trained them to the ultimate extreme. For that reason, his 'combat instinct' allows him to perfectly predict opponents movements and detect if a person is lying. His strength and speed in typical times is comparable to other shinobi using special techniques-he can effortlessly move faster than the Body Flicker just by running. Due to his even and balanced style, he has no major weaknesses aside from lack of special technique. When in a serious situation, he will snap his horns off and use them as weapons. Despite his achievements, he is not a very well known ninja as he never leaves witnesses, but the rumours of his strength still make him an S-class criminal.

Tsubaki Nakatsukasa
Referred to as: Tsubaki (blush blush)
Jin-Ho fully intends to spend the rest of his life in a relationship with Tsubaki, and more or less is actually in love with her. He won't be telling her that for quite a while, if he can help it, in case she's scared off. Other than that, she's someone he can turn to for any problem he has, and he loves helping her. He'll be the best meister he can for her.

Gopher
Referred to as: Gopher-Ssi (Ssi being pretty much the same as 'san.')
Jin-Ho likes Gopher. He's polite, and generally they get along very well. The way they met had a big impact on his decision that he wants to get to know Gopher better. He seems like he has a similar type of mind to his own-he is determined to complete something, or at least get as far as he can along the path to it. Jin-Ho is just happy he could help Gopher to understand how to get there that little bit better. He doesn't quite get that the other reason is that they're both sort of psychos. When it comes out that Gopher is an enemy of Shibusen, even I have no idea how Jin-Ho will react. If anything, he will decide it is his job to drag Gopher onto the path of being a good guy. Because Jin-Ho is socially a total failure, he doesn't think of Gopher as a friend because Gopher hasn't said 'we are friends' to his face, but Gopher sits happily in that section of people who is a friend in all but name.

Aura Detection Permissions Post

When Jin-Ho activates this ability, he will basically be able to see a visual metaphor for a person's personality when he looks at them. Usually it's coming out of the body or just hanging out behind it. The best way to figure it out is to finish the phrase 'my character's personality is like a [blank].' Or hell, just think up something you think looks cool. I don't mind.

The aura doesn't actually have a physical form-so Jin-Ho's firey aura doesn't burn anything, etc. It's just something to look at to see how someone is feeling.

It's pretty whack, and only turns up a couple of times in canon-in fact, here are almost all of the examples and my random mass guessing as to their meaning. I hope they make sense and you can make something out of this-have fun!

Jin-Ho's Aura
Aura Appearance: Natural non-physical phenomena, leaking from his skin.
It changes like this:
Normally, it is formless white Smoke. When angry, it is fire, when sad, rain, when excited lightning. The more intense the feeling, the greater the volume of the phenomena-slightly annoyed would have a tiny flame across his skin, and completely enraged would fill a whole room with white hot fire.
When feeling murderous, it takes a skull shape.
When with people Jin-Ho outright loves, it forms an outline of himself.
Explanation: Jin-Ho's personality is very formless and mostly empty, but most definitely unbreakable and with a distinct purpose to it, much like all of the phenomena above. Fire always burns, rain always falls, lightning always strikes and Jin-Ho always sticks to his own path, no matter what. It doesn't matter how often you shout or smack at smoke, it will always be smoke, and you can't beat it out of shape because it doesn't have one.
Anything special that can be told: Not really-a regular guy.

Sa-Mong Cho's Aura
Aura Appearance: A grim reaper that hovers over his shoulder.
Indication of moods: The moods of Cho can be told from how the reaper wields his scythe. When calm, it is casually over the reaper's shoulder, when angry it swings it around, when he's happy it holds it in front of it etc. In particular, when Cho is about to commit a brutal act, the reaper moves its blade to slit the throat of his target.
Explanation: Sa-Mong Cho is a brutal monster of a man who loves to collect victims, and is nicknamed a death god.
Anything special that can be told: Not really. Regular guy again.

Woo Soo-Choi's Aura
Aura Appearance: A larger version of himself, over his shoulder.
Indication of moods: It has human facial features, so its human face shows human emotion.
Explanation: Woo Soo-Choi is a very simple and straight forward person. He is simply 'himself', working as hard as he can to do things the right way. And in this way, he is a lot stronger on the inside than he is on the outside, hence why his aura shows him as being larger than life.
Anything special that can be told: His body and aura don't synch up perfectly-this is because Woo Soo-Choi is not the owner of the body he is in, having been transferred into it by a scientific accident.

In Change Guy, when people get an aura strong enough, they can see other people's aura's. It's never full explained because nothing in Change Guy is, but as far as my head canon goes, it follows stages like this:

Stage one:
Seeing Aura with one's eyes.
Jin-Ho has achieved & mastered this. He can see people's life energy, chi, chakra, soul wavelength etc automatically, with no effort. In fact, he couldn't even turn it off if he tried.

Stage two:
Feeling Aura with a sixth sense.
Jin-Ho has achieved and mastered this. He can feel the aura of anyone in his range, and even track people by the aura. In fac1, this requires some small effort, but normally, it is automatic and can't be turned off.

Stage three:
Reading Aura to feel what people will do.
Jin-Ho has achieved this. With some focus, he can see what people will do (in a manner akin to Nude Descending a Staircase, that is to say, he sees all the motions within the next few seconds at once. In fac1, this is pretty hard to do, normally it would be a lot easier, but it is never automatic.

Stage four:
Seeing a detailed aura.
Jin-Ho has achieved He is able to see what would essentially be a visual metaphor for a person's personality and their current mood. In fac1, this would take the same amount of effort as stage two, but would be automatic and stuck on otherwise, until Jin-Ho learns HOW to turn it off.

Stage five:
Reading damage.
Jin-Ho is far from this. This is the ability to read a person's aura and see exactly how damaged they are-even being able to tell broken bones, internal damage, etc, and how long it will take to heal. It will take about the same effort as stage three.

Stage six:
Reading power.
Jin-Ho is far from this. This is the ability to see exactly how powerful someone is, and combined with stage four, allow him to get a good grasp on the level of skill someone has as well. It would take about the same effort as stage five.

Stage seven:
Total reading.
Jin-Ho is a million years from this. This is the ability to completely know a person's full potential for strength. When used, it combines absolutely all the other stages into one supreme version of insight as well. Basically, if he achieves this, he will be able to know a person's strengths and weaknesses of body and mind at a glance.
