Challenge #9

Talk about your favorite tropes in media or transformative works.

I have so many preferred tropes in fandom. Found family is the biggest. A group of people, coming together, becoming brothers and sisters, finding a parental figure? Finding themselves suddenly a role model for someone younger and wanting to protect that person? Those are my comfort fics, for real. There is no better high than a well-written story of people finding their home with each other.

I also absolutely love a/b/o. I don't know why, but shapeshifters / werewolves were my first supernatural loves and I think a/b/o gives me an excuse to have it always and forever. I also like the idea of a protector and of someone being protected. It just hits me right in the heart.

I love competency. I never realized how much that is important for me, that someone knows what they're doing or knows how figure it out instead of looking at me helplessly and I have to figure it out for them.

I love stories that have in depth world-building. That have some unique, special mechanic that is well-explained and makes sense for the way the story was written. I like those small little references to it, the small little details, because it shows thought and dedication put into the story.

There are kinks, of course, but I really actually don't want to focus on them, because a good story doesn't need that, really. A good story takes characters and showcases them at their best and worst, and everything in between.

Challenge #8

Talk about your creative process.

I don't know if it counts as a creative process, but I constantly have, like, stories and ideas floating around in my head. It never does seem to stop, and watching one movie will inevitably lead to me thinking how to rewrite it or adapt it to fit a fandom pairing I prefer.

When I write, I normally try to make sure I have time to do so. I block off time, or I make a concerted effort to know I won't have anything to do for an hour or so. And then I just start typing? I will often jump around in the story because I have a series of scenes of the story clearly planned out, and the connecting bits are the harder part. I also end up down random rabbit holes depending, because world-building is really important to me (it's why I like writing in sci-fi scenarios, because all I really need to do is come up with plausible and good-sounding science to explain my world, vs. trying to do research on what modes of travel were available during the regency era etc.

I am also very often posting things fast, because I promise to post or I have a deadline, and then I miss it and stress my own self out. It means I don't always catch all my mistakes, and my endings are almost always rushed. It stresses me out but once my brain is 'done' with a story, it's harder for me to stick with it and finish it to the degree it deserves.

I don't think that's a proper creative process description but it's how I've done most of my stories, if not all of them.

two log cabins with snow on the roofs in a wintery forest. text on the picture reads "snowflake challenge january 1 - 31" in white cursive text

Challenge #7:

LIST THREE (or more) THINGS YOU LIKE ABOUT YOURSELF. They don’t have to be your favorite things, just things that you think are good. Feel free to expand as much or as little as you want.

So this is going to be a short fucking list because there are genuinely so little things I can think of.

I do like my eyes. I think they look nice. It's about the only thing of my body I can stand.

I do think I'm very creative. My party trick is that a person can give me a genre and three random words and I can generate a plot or story in that genre.

I'd like to think I'm there for others but I'm also aware that I'm not as present as I should be. So I guess that actually doesn't count. I love my students? It means I'm not as strict as I should be, and my teaching suffers because of it, and my students take advantage of it...

so I guess I can only think of two things, which is cool I suppose.

2026 — Fandom Snowflake Challenge, Day 6

two log cabins with snow on the roofs in a wintery forest. text on the picture reads "snowflake challenge january 1 - 31" in white cursive text

Challenge #6

Top 10 Challenge.

Ngl, life has been particularly rough the past month and when I saw this challenge it kinda stalled me out, because I wanted to do all the challenges in order but I also don't think I have a top 10... anything.

But I always tell my students a 50 is better than a zero, so maybe a shorter list that I can come back and edit, or add to, or something, would at least get me over this blank spot I've been in for this top 10 challenge.

So, I'm going to go with top 10 movies / shorts I show my students and that I like to use in the classroom, though some of these are only things I wanted to show and didn't actually show, so it may not actually count.

1) Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. This is such a particularly good movie, especially for me as a social studies teacher. It perfectly kiddie-fies the concept of Manifest Destiny. I try and have all my social studies classes watch it right before winter break - it normally meshes well with Texas's 5th, 7th, and 8th grade curriculum at that point in time.

2) Meet the Robinsons. I've shown this movie multiple times and it's always a good movie for the kids because it allows kids to understand that failure is a part of growing up - and also allows them to see what happens when you focus on the negatives in your life instead of the positives. Plus the sheer wackiness of the family I always felt was very welcoming.

3) The Emperor's New Groove. This is what I have my 6th grade (world cultures) watch right before winter break, as that meshes with Texas's curriculum for them better than Spirit. It's about the Inca empire, which they learned about back in November, so it's a little less directly connected but I have the kids look at the carvings, the backgrounds, the clothing, the mountains. I have them remember the achievements of the Incas (their roads, and their suspension bridges). It's also just a very fun movie to watch.

4) There's a wonderful little short called Deathigner, on vimeo I believe (I have to google it every year, because I always forget the name) and I do use it with the kids to talk about how there are many ways to get things done, not just one way, and just because the baby grim reaper can't be as bloodthirsty as the others doesn't mean he's in the wrong.

5) Moana. Maybe it's a bit too obvious, but for 6th grade right before the end of school they're learning about Oceania and Moana fits very well into that.

6) I have shown Around the World in 80 Days (the Jackie Chan movie) because, though wildly inaccurate in many ways, it demonstrates what train travel was like, it shows how the industrialized world is interconnected, but I think I only showed it one year because there are other, better choices.

7) I've never shown the whole thing (obviously) but I've used multiple clips from Hamilton for 8th grade, and even shorter clips and more carefully curated (as in, music only) for 5th grade.

8) Two years in a row I showed clips from Captain America (the very first one) to discuss World War II and show students some of the technology used in the war, but I'll be honest it was more for me to watch something fun with the class than to really do something school related. Valiant is another kids movie that is a bit better if I really wanted to show the fighting in World War, though if I'm remembering correctly it's WWI not WWII.

...I wish I could think of others. I know there are, that's the thing. I just can't think of any, and I know that's me failing at a top 10 anything but. Oh well I guess

Challenge #5:

In your own space, create a list of at least three things you'd love to receive, a wishlist of sorts.

Perpetually late is the story of my life, I guess.

Wishlisting is hard — there are a lot of small little things that I like to decorate and personalize (I'm a big fan of stickers) but it's extremely hard to justify them in general, particularly for everyone on the internet to see.

But I can also say that I love collaborations, and low-stress things that just bring joy or happiness, so I'll stick to the safer route:

Fanart or fanmixes for any of my stories

Crochet patterns that match my fandoms (or, really, any fandoms)

Comments or engagement with my stories (which I know is hypocritical, because I never reply to my comments unfortunately)

Challenge #4: Rec The Contents Of Your Last Page

Any website that you like, be it fanfiction, art, social media, or something a bit more eccentric!

Creating recommendations is a little hard, primarily because it's difficult to think about all the different kinds of things I use regularly or do or think deserve props, so I may come back and flesh this list out more later. But we'll try for right now what I can think of:

Rec List of Bands / Singers:

Nickelback (I know, okay?? I know x.x)

Natalia Kills

The Kill

Simple Plan

Linkin Park

Rec List of Authors:

Tamora Pierce

Jim Butcher

Anne Bishop

Ilona Andrews

Rec List of Fanfiction Authors:

Reioka

Rec List of Fanfiction Stories (in defense, there are a lot more I should rec; I just took the first 5 bookmarks of my ao3 page that weren't locked to just ao3 members):

Between Scylla and Charybdis by Anonymous (The Old Guard 2020, Joe/Nicky)

Salvage by MuffinLance (Avatar: the Last Airbender, family story [no relationships])

You, Me, and the Humanity in Between by JUBE514 (Batman, family story [no relationships])

Waiting on You by DecemberCamie (HunterxHunter, Gon/Killua)

Rec List of Word Games (that I play fairly regularly):

Quordle

two log cabins with snow on the roofs in a wintery forest. text on the picture reads "snowflake challenge january 1 - 31" in white cursive text

Challenge #3: Write a love letter to fandom. It might be to fandom in general, to a particular fandom, favourite character, anything at all.

Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it.

I have always created stories — seeing posts nowadays about how girls show their ADHD by daydreaming, I feel so seen sometimes, because that was everything I did as a child — and I was always a big reader. As a child, my sibling and I that shared a room had something we called p-l-a-y; we had younger siblings, and at the beginning we didn't want to ask them to play with us. But it wasn't like, with toys. It was us literally pacing the room in an oval as we each had a character from a huge cast of characters and those characters would have adventures — a dnd session without a dm, if you will. Our characters came from the shows we watched, which went from digimon to the 90s xmen show to dragonball z (the veeeeery few shows we managed to sneak and watch when our parents weren't awake) to transformers. They included kids of the characters (I still remember that I created a son of Gambit called Legerdemain, which is a word I pulled out of a thesaurus that meant sleight of hand), they included our own original characters.

We strictly divided them up and we held that cast of characters and sent them on adventures every night.

I remember that fondly; I sure hope my sibling also remembers that.

We were maybe 10 and 7, or 11 and 8. Fandom was in my life that young, and my first foray into writing a full story was a retelling of Logan / Wolverine with a bunch of OCs and random difficulties, obstacles, etc. As I went through high school, I kept notebooks and each of these notebooks I would fill to the last page, each one a variation of some kind of fandom I've seen.

Fandom has always been a... safe haven, I'll say. It gave me characters I could play with, could rewrite or edit or build off of, and I have to say I think my life would look much darker without fandom. Fandom allowed me to meet one of my best friends, and fandom honestly gives me a kind of benchmark or stick to meet new people. It allows me to have something in this life that is just... happy. It lets me read stories infinitely better than any kind of story I've read in actual books checked out of the library.

(seriously, I rec this to everyone and anyone, but if you have never read Lightning on the Wave's retelling and rewriting of the Harry Potter series you are missing out. It is such a detailed, beautifully built world so much more fleshed out and so much more complex than John Rowling could have ever created.)

So I guess my love letter is to the various universes that allowed me so much joy as a child. One day I hope to return to fandom fully, and turn one of my stories into an actual published book. I have so many ideas in my head I still want to write, I just... have lost the whimsy and brightness that made it easy to write.

Challenge #2: Pets of Fandom

Loosely defined! Post about your pets, pets from your canon, anything you want!

I have always wanted a cat. Like, really, truly, deeply. I've never lived in my own place, though, so I never had the opportunity.

I can't think even of a lot of pets in fandom. My primary fandoms are Avengers / MCU (pre-Endgame, specifically), Overwatch, The Losers, Hobbit / LotR, and assorted anime shows. Not many of them have pets, per se. There's Alpine and Lucky for Bucky Barnes and Clint Barton, I think Brigette from Overwatch has a giant cat, and more or less everything else is pet-less.

I don't know if this is making me more depressed or not x.x At least in various Disney shows each protagonist has some level of an animal that goes along with them, like Pascal and Rapunzel or Dante and Miguel

Two of my siblings have cats, and while I personally don't like how the hair gets everywhere I'm so jealous of them, honestly.

Challenge #1

The Icebreaker Challenge: Introduce yourself. Tell us why you're doing the challenge, and what you hope to gain from it.

I am a writer and reader, mainly, and have written a lot though I've stopped over the past two or three years. Kinda just... ran out of energy, or will, or... anyway.

It's been a rough year, and a rough past two months, and I keep honestly thinking that... well. Anyway.

I'm outercorner, here and on tumblr, and I write fanfic under the name AngeNoir on ao3. Both names work for me.

I'm hoping... honestly, I would love to write again. It's been such a dark and depressing past few years that I would like to actually feel like life can be positive again, though the world and current events seem determined to grind that down into dust. so. there's that.

but also creating some level of community would be nice, as isolated as I am and how much life has changed. That would be... cool.

My bio remains, as always, on tumblr and here, as such:

30-40 y.o. block | cis | pronouns: she/her | heterosexual | Arab-American (white-passing/white) | this author stands with Palestine 🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸 | free Congo | all eyes on Sudan |1312

Challenge #5

Talk about what has improved in your life thanks to fandom. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I can honestly say fandom is normally the only thing that brings me any kind of stress relief nowadays. Fandom has given me a place to identify with characters, talk to strangers, and find some small community. I am not the most social of people outside of online life, and I'm pretty bad at making and keeping friends, but when I'm in online spaces I feel more connected when I can write a story or write a positive comment on someone's art. It might be silly to talk about it in such a generic fashion, but fandom gives me an outlet of creativity in an otherwise extremely depressing existence, and so that's been an improvement overall.

Challenge #4

Since this is the start of a new year, this challenge will be e to set your own goals! Of course we can all make large or ambitious goals, remember that small and/or short goals are also good! Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Last year, my goal was to do a new art style or art piece — to have creativity of some type. I think my goal this year is to continue the art that I have bought (in no particular order, it is paint markers and canvas, embroidery, and crocheting).

I've also had a brain-worm of a story wiggling around since... oof. Since like, last March. I want to try and write the whole thing, especially as I've stopped writing fanfiction and that makes me a little sad.

There's also the adult goals like at some point paying off all my debt (of which there is a lot, because I have the impulse control of a goldfish) and somehow saving enough money so I don't go into more debt as I try to do a sibling reunion in the summer with my family members. But those are the boring ones x.x

Challenge #3

In your own space, talk about a fannish opinion you hold that has changed over time. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I think the opinion that has changed the most, honestly, has been my ability to watch shows like My Hero Academia and the like without going "why are they making children do this oh my god." As a teacher myself, it's harder and harder for me to accept that young children (you know the age, the fifteen to nineteen years-old protagonists) just have to save the world and there's not a thing the adults and mature people around them can do except cheer them on. Rewatching Bleach (or trying to) or Fullmetal Alchemist I'm constantly yelling at the television "He's a CHILD! You can't expect a child to do XYZ!" Anyway.

It's a fairly tame one, I suppose. I can't think of any other major opinion I have that has drastically changed, just gained nuance over the years. Some examples I can think of:

I've always preferred m/m ships over f/f ships. Now, with years of experience, I've identified my dislike was because most fandoms have little development of female characters and especially few connections between female characters and other characters in general, while giving men huge backstories, so it was easier for me to see connections between the men than women. I still don't always enjoy f/f ships, but good fanfic authors give me the connections and development I'm looking for and I no longer actively ignore f/f ships.

I've always believed Tony Stark to be right in Civil War, and while that hasn't changed, I've softened my stance on how angry I was at Steve Rogers' side. I don't agree with him at all, still, but I'm less inclined to want to see him grovel in stories lol

I've never tied authors to their work — i.e., when Joanne Kathleen wrote the HP series, I never really cared about them personally, just enjoyed playing in the world they created (especially when it was so poorly written that nothing was well-explained, giving me huge freedom to do my favorite thing: world-building). So when they came out as transphobic, and when I found a whole list of actors and writers who refused to support palestine — or actively worked to support israhell — it didn't detract from my ability to turn their work into something I can continue writing about, even if I don't engage with their new movies.

I've never enjoyed the propaganda slant of Marvel (it's why I liked Iron Man movies, they were all about the main character messing up and realizing it was his own people and flaws that made his problems, not some outside ooOooO scary terrorist) and what with the blatant cash grabbing of Disney and the terrible, terrible character of Sabra in the new Captain America movie, I'm just happy I divorced from caring about Marvel when I did, which was at Endgame with the terrible plot and writing. I tried to get into the Marvel series (I had loved Agent Carter when it came out) and started Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but it just seemed empty, and I watched the Kamala Khan series but it was... more than a little disappointing, from a Muslim perspective.

I honestly can't think of any other big opinions I have in fandom beyond, like, preferences and ignoring certain parts of canon to keep writing, or the like. And overall, growing older has only really enhanced my understanding of why I hate or dislike ABC.

Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I think the very earliest I remember really being in fandom and liking a story well enough to create my own fanfiction of it was, of all things, Robin Hood. I must have been... ten? Eleven? Creating a "children of Robin Hood" story, with a daughter of Robin, a son of Will, etc. I also vaguely remember creating a transformers spin off, and my first real story I wrote was a retelling / redo of Logan/Wolverine's origin story, except as teenagers because teenagers were cool to me when I was barely out of middle school.

But fandom and writing has always been something I've loved to do, and with practice and growth I eventually became really enamored of X-Men fanfiction while in early college. It was a weird branching for me — I was looking for something entirely different and ended up finding male slash fanfiction (lemon, is what it was called in that day and age) on a web page called LeDiableBlanc. (I'm tempted to see if that website is still up and running...)

It was home to a lot of fanfiction, all centered on Remy LeBeau / Gambit (my second or third fandom crush) and him with various other male X-Men, and it really had a formative effect on me, my writing, and what I liked to read and write. From there I fell into The Losers fanfiction, and then into Marvel (The Avengers, specifically). There were many other smaller fandoms (you can see my fandoms and pairings here, if you're so inclined) but those are the big ones that stuck with me — X-Men, The Losers, and Phase 1 and 2 of The Avengers.

(Oh my god, it's still around. I may just fall down the rabbit hole of rereading all these old fanfictions. Here is the main page of LeDiableBlanc, and here is the fanfiction page that enraptured seventeen to nineteen year old me.)

I'm going to link to last year's post, as I can't really find much difference between then and now, which is maybe a little depressing, but who knows.

But for reference, my fandom spaces that are active are:

Ao3: My writing

Less active (practically INactive), but existing, is here (livejournal), on dreamwidth, or on pillowfort.

My bio (which has not changed): 30-40 y.o. block | cis | pronouns: she/her | heterosexual | Arab-American (white-passing/white) | this author stands with Palestine 🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸

So I've tried two new things now — I've gotten acrylic markers and some canvas, and tried to make some art. It was terrible, but I've tried.

I've also gotten some yarn and begun learning how to crochet. I am reminded of a random tiktok that I can't remember exactly but it went kinda like "when sewing / knitting / crocheting, you will be faced with the question 'can I do math' and have to face the possibility of the answer being 'no'"

but I did love the crocheting. this may be the undiagnosed ADHD but I've now ordered more yarn off and have watched like 7 different videos and we'll see if I stick with this or not

Challenge #12

Tell us about a personal win.

I have not had a lot of wins, let's be very honest about that first. Every year teaching is another demoralizing year because it seems like I'm just consistently failing getting kids to learn.

However, I am going to take at least a little bit of pride in the fact that at the beginning of the school year, my team switched homerooms around because the A section was absolutely terrible. Like, told the teacher to his face that he couldn't even speak English right (he was an immigrant from Europe) so they didn't have to listen to him. So we switched homerooms around and of the three of us, the third person had had the most difficult homeroom the previous year.

So, like a moron, I volunteered to take the A section as my homeroom and that was back in September. I have been struggling day in and out trying to curb their behavior and instill better culture and respect for teachers and it's been a fucking nightmare, it really has. I think it was October that I literally stormed out of the classroom and slammed the door before bursting into tears.

But I'm... cautiously happy? Normally behaviors go down after winter break but we came back from winter break and my homeroom is actually behaving okay-ish. They did make a sub walk out two weeks ago when the math teacher was out sick, but besides that they've been actively getting better.

Maybe part of it is we shuffled kids around, breaking up cliques and the like, but I'm really hopeful. This year has been a nightmare and if we can go out better than how we started, I'll take that as a win.

It's sad that that's my only win, but that's it, that's the post. My homeroom is not actively horrible* any more. (*To their every day teachers.)

5 things I want to do this upcoming year:

join a big bang and actually complete it on time, not rushing to write the last 3,000 words in a night

paint a picture or do some kind of art on a canvas

visit family or just have some kind of vacation where I chill in a room without doing anything

figure out if I can do therapy on my health plan and then figure out who I can visit, or figure out how to get myself to fill out these self help journals

figure out my financial situation and try to make it better

An amazing series I've recently found was QI (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76ueZytJTIQ) — I shelled out money for a BritBox subscription on my amazon account because of how much I enjoy it. It is such a funny, interesting show. I love the format of comedians and the fact that there's so many interesting facts about the world. It's like NatGeo Kids but for adults.

But I also adore Taskmaster (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWa1R8WUyXM). Taskmaster is such an amazing show and I wish there was literally like a thing you could do in real life. The closest things I can think of is escape rooms and I love those as well.

Challenge #8

Talk about a current fannish project (fic, art, vid, crochet, funko pop village) (that you are creating or enjoying)

Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I have two major ideas I'm trying to work on right now, if I can get myself back into the swing of things

An overwatch story, where I'm continuing / expanding a story I wrote previous about Ella Enchanted because when I wrote it I had so much more to add but as I am consistently bad with timelines I was running out of time and cut it short. I need to go through all my old overwatch fiction, actually, and change a character's name...

I also have a stuckony story I've been working on that is kinda based on a prince-turned-hostage in the a/b/o universe that I'm really excited about — I've had certain scenes written in my head for months now — if I can ever get it actually out and onto (virtual) paper...

Challenge #7

Make a list of fannish and/or creative resources. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so

I do a lot of weird research for different stories, and generally end up going down random rabbit holes, but some of the most consistent websites I visit are as follows:

avatar.fandom.com (or really, ____.fandom.com)

wiki articles are a godsend

On my tumblr back when I more active, I had a whole tagged for writing reference (https://outercorner.tumblr.com/tagged/writing+reference)

... and for fandom reference (https://outercorner.tumblr.com/tagged/fandom+reference)

I did in fact grow up in the time period where everyone thought it would be important to use a computer and those skills would need to be learned, so I was taught how to do basic HTML to make random choose-your-own-adventure HTMLs I would share with classmates, and teaching how to google or research were also skills. I say this, as a teacher, knowing full well that I did not think I'd have to explain to my students how to google to find the answers and read a website, but consistently every year students do not seem to know how to do this because everyone, parents and school system both, assume that with access to technology is automatic understanding of it and it frustrates me

Snowflake Challenge promotional banner with image of metallic snowflake and ornaments. Text: Snowflake Challenge January 1-31.

Challenge #6

In your own space, share a favourite piece of original canon (a show, a specific TV episode, a storyline, a book or series, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain why you love it so much. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

This is... maybe a bit pathetic, I guess. But Iron Man has always been my favorite character. I don't know why, or actually I could go into great detail but it's a bit overly personal so maybe I don't want to is the better thing to write. In any case, I loved that one scene in the first Avengers movie where Tony Stark pointed out the person playing Galaga. I also loved in the Ultron movie, when he wanted to find a secret door and was so genuinely happy to find one.

(Scene 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmTqtEtlSRc)

(Scene 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_ssNYD36Xg)

These two scenes, or each one specifically, show to me a whole range of sides to Tony Stark. He's a genius, and he shows off, and he's a blowhard, but he's genuinely noticing a lot of stuff going around him at all times and he's extremely perceptive. He's got a kinder heart than he projects and he 's for sure just someone who I wholeheartedly love. I'm more than a little conflating the fandom version of Iron Man but considering that it's literally a comic book I don't feel... too bad about that.

I've also seen so many amazing posts and now I feel very bad that mine is so pathetically short. Iron Man doing cute things to me is just something lovely, and while I could delve into his character and explain how he trusted adults and mentors around him only to be let down, learning that he was the system that destroyed the world and how badly he destroyed an entire region, trying to be more responsible while still aware of how he is exceedingly, extremely fragile and fallible and trying to compensate for that anyway...

There's a lot to him I love. I think he represents a lot about myself and what I could hope to be.

Challenge #5

Search in your current space, whether brick-and-mortar or digital. Post a picture (a link to a picture will be fine!) or description of something that is or represents:

1. Something your favorite character would like
2. Something that makes you laugh
3. A fandom place you would like to visit
4. A fandom creator (pro or not) you'd like to meet
5. Something you find comforting
6. Something from a favorite TV series or movie from your childhood
7. A piece of clothing you love
8. A book or song with a color in the title
9. Something only someone in your fandom would understand

I have a lot of favorite characters, but one of them I feel would absolutely love this here (https://i.etsystatic.com/22939905/r/il/49266e/5686392065/il_1588xN.5686392065_73sa.jpg)

I love those stupid trends on TikTok. The "Ricky when I catch you Ricky" (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/AVemNswHGbM), the "you're a short motherfucker and nobody likes you" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjlYFWLUDBQ) (I know, they're old trends, I'm old, it takes me a while to catch up to what's new).

There's a lot of fantasy worlds I'd like to visit, but in our actual reality I'd love to one day visit a cat cafe, which is such a big part of a lot of different AUs in fandoms and sounds peaceful.

Oh goodness. There's so many good ones. ClaroQueQuiza (https://archiveofourown.org/works/8777605?view_full_work=true) and Venusm (https://archiveofourown.org/works/1013991?view_full_work=true) are two fanfic authors who wrote a stunningly good story and then stopped midway — it put me in mind of the Marriage Stone all over again. I would just like to know they're okay, actually, particularly with how crazy this world has gone off the rails. The worst timeline, very much so.

There are a lot of fanfics I reread for comfort, but one that I reread fairly often is Hide a Heart of War by RayShippouUchiha (https://archiveofourown.org/works/8091886?view_full_work=true) but I also love watching silly videos of cats and animals.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was my childhood show, and I guess something that always stuck with me from the show was Tara and Anya. I still vividly remember Anya's fear of bunnies. That musical episode was... haunting, to this day.

I do love my pajamas. Like, if I could just live in my pajamas and almost never get dressed, just relax at home, I will. I don't know if that's my issue that I need to talk over or if I'm just a lazy asshole. Who knows. But I also have a nice dress / tunic with a galaxy pattern, and loose sparkly palazzo-style pants I enjoy as well.

Mmmm, Silver Born, by Patricia Briggs? I had to get open my Kindle app and scroll through my books I had read but I do enjoy it

"What time is it?" (overwatch) or "Great Explosion Murder God" (mha)

This one stumped me a little because I was trying to think of physical things in my house that aren't boring shit and wasn't coming up with anything at all. I'm a very boring person. I had to look at a few others lists to get some level of inspiration x.x;;
