Trained as an architect, George Nelson approached design with a mission to improve everyday life. While traditional clocks had remained largely unchanged for decades, Nelson reimagined the way a timepiece could look and function. The Ball Clock embodies his vision of creating a functional yet artistic modernist object, and it stands as a testament to his lifelong fascination with clocks.
