Book List

Since I'm always lending them to people, I've decided to keep a list of the books I own in my lj memories so that I can keep track of them. Poetry, plays, literature and fiction are alphabetized by author, everything else (including anthologies) is by title. The literature vs. non-literature distinction is somewhat arbitrary and inherently problematic so I did away with it entirely and clumped them in one alphabetized jumble. Although this makes me sad because I'm a literary snob, I felt it was the best choice under the circumstances. I don't feel qualified to choose which works should go in the canon and I can't bring myself to endorse the current racist/sexist dead white male authors society. I'll try not to cry about the fact that Herman Hesse somehow wound up next to the Ninja Turtles.

Theology & Occult
101 Things Everyone Should Know About Catholocism: Beliefs, Practices, Customs, and Traditions - Helen Keeler & Susan Grimbly; James B.
