Gloucestershire County Council to showcase the very best of the county at Royal Three Counties Show
Visitors to the show are invited to step inside an immersive Gloucestershire experience, bringing together local food, creativity, heritage, innovation and opportunity in one vibrant space.
The council’s display stand will offer something for all ages, with opportunities to taste food and drink from some of the county’s top producers, supported by Made in Gloucestershire, and to get hands-on with activities that showcase local craft, creativity and the natural environment.
Families can enjoy a special experience from Cotswold Farm Park, including a fun competition to win entry tickets to the farm park by guessing the wool of a rare breed sheep. There will also be the chance to enjoy unique audio moments from Gloucestershire Libraries, helping to bring the county’s stories to life.
A virtual reality experience will allow visitors to explore the county’s landscapes and innovations, while live demonstrations from local producers and craftspeople will fill the space with the sights, sounds and aromas of Gloucestershire.
The stand will also highlight how people can travel around the county in more sustainable ways, including cycling and e‑scooters, while the Careers Hub showcases how education and industry are being brought closer together to support skills development - offering advice on local education and employment opportunities. Visitors can also discover inspiration for future days out and short breaks, exploring more about the county’s diverse attractions and thriving tourism sector - proudly supported by the CotswoldPlus Local Visitor Economy Partnership.
Cllr Julian Tooke, cabinet member for business, economic development, planning and infrastructure, said: “The rural economy is central to our county’s identity and prosperity. We are committed to supporting those who live and work in our countryside, and the Royal Three Counties Show provides a perfect opportunity to celebrate their contributions and the beauty of our rural landscapes.
“Our display stand brings together the very best of Gloucestershire in one place – from our outstanding local produce and creative talent to the opportunities available for residents, businesses and visitors. We look forward to welcoming people to discover more about what makes Gloucestershire such a special county.”
